We've had people question the quality of van Hooijdonk and now we're linked with the guy Norwich are apparently shipping out to make room for him? I'm honestly sick to death of this club. I'll give him the same chance I give every signing but I'm absolutely scunnered at the moment.

This window goes from bad to worse. I'd rather we signed no one than Idah! There was rumours of Ings now we're going for a guy because he's Irish. Has it really took since the summer to identify crap like this? The posters on here have suggested much better realistic options.

Adam Adah is a very decent player, he has been hit by a spate of injuries over the last 2 seasons, but by all accounts in I the Irish camp and his inclusion in the first team squad at Norwich he is back to full fitness. He may not be the marquee signing that many want, but he could just prove to be the added firepower to get us over the line for the league. He’s quick, strong, gets past defenders and can finish.
We are going to have another loan or 2 in the next 2 days.
We will spend in the summer and in the meantime the salary structure is under review, once that is out of the way the bank account will be open.

Don’t get this Shiite about waiting till the summer to spend, WHY ? if I break my leg should I wait till the summer to get it fixed coz the the weather will be better and A&E queues will be down? How feckin ridiculous?
If we hand them the £60M, the excuse will be that we can’t afford to spend coz revenue is down. There is something badly wrong with this football club. The people running it have all been successful in their previous careers (assumption) , so WTF is their agenda? For a board so financially obsessed, they seem to conspire to feck up the ability to fill their boots with CL cash, as they did with a decade ( at least ) of Lawells failure to strengthen for qualifiers. Now with the biggest prize on offer they again do nothing, WHY? They are heading for a serious fall out with the fans and not just one small section of the ground.

We would pick the 2.5. Player.

The deal is initial loan with option to buy, anybody know the future fee?
From what I’ve read he is good at holding up with back to goal, 6 ft 3 so maybe a target man to give us different options.
I’m more concerned at GK and LB tbh as Maeda can play through middle if needed too.
Think we could have got Miovski for £2-3m who knows league is still relatively young and knows where the back of the net is.

I'm sure we'd all be delighted if he turns out to be great, Malika but the jury's out based on the info available. As for the purse strings being loosened, I won't hold my breath.
