It's July 10th and that's Alastair Johnston's season just finished.
Since our Scottish Cup Final victory,
Johnston played in 7 games for Canada.

Played really well throughout the tournament from what I have watched.

We need another RB. Johnstone gets injured Tony can’t play in the CL. Unless we want hammered again. I love Tony but he ain’t anywhere near good enough for the CL.

Magic i believe a better rb than Johnson should be signed, very average last season had a few good games but other than that very average.

Hopefully he can bring that form for us as he's been poor. We definitely need an upgrade at RB.

Upgrade replacement for Hart, Johnson, Scales, Taylor, dcm signed for our first team, better winger than we've got and a cf challenging Kyogo.

Agree on Ralston, gives his heart and soul but no better than SPL standard.
Scotland's game against Germany a few weeks ago showed Tony up at that level and those German players are CL standard.
We need a better alternative to AJ at RB than Tony.

Magicpole . We are lucky to have a back-up player as good as Ralston.
If we look at our back- up players right through the team, very few of them have contributed as many assists, goals scored and goal mouth clearances as Ralston has . If Celtic can improve 3 / 4 positions that need improvement and improve our back-up players to Ralston standard ( capped for Scotland in all 3 Euros matches ) and surprise, surprise the SMSM decided to criticise him, that shouldn’t necessarily mean Celtic supporters should follow their lead.

First time he had played at that level and yes he got a roasting, he played a bit better 2nd game although still made a couple mistakes however I thought the 3rd game he played really well and was actually one of our best players in an otherwise shocking performance the team.
The only way guy's like Tony will improve at that level is let them play the games and make the mistakes, That is how you learn.
I think Ralston has improved dramatically over the last three years compared to how he was before that.
