We are far better getting a quality goalkeeper that BR wants in the last 50days of transfer window than any standard of goalie in first 12 days.

Id like to see a goalie in place before dc utd game on the 21st League starts 2 weeks after that wee des. is he the one picking the goalkeeper? so cost may come before quality. pressure from the accounting dept as we haven't sold m. o. r yet.

It was common sense to have someone lined-up as soon as Joe Hart announced he was retiring, so we could hit the ground running with a settled defense to start our campaign. I appreciate this might not be as easy as it sounds, but my lack of confidence in our Board and our recruitment always makes me have doubts in our clubs 'common sense'.

Of I remember right I don't think we got Hart till late on in the transfer window. Patience is a virtue.

the transfer window for the majority of the leagues in Europe opened on the 01st July.

It’s unfortunate that as a Celtic. supporter that a fan can be so negative that they can’t enjoy the many good days and successes that our club has had . There are many people who were so negative about the club last season, that they just couldn’t have enjoyed us winning the double . There were people last season that gave us daily criticism with name calling of Celtic Board and Manager, we were told BR was past it as a manager who could motivate players and him only 50/ 51 yrs old . Funny enough many of these posters disappeared during last month of season
I imagine that no matter who Celtic sign as goalkeeper, Joe won’t be pleased as he seems to think the earlier a goalkeeper is signed the better he will be.
