There's a big Republican March in Coatbridge today and my Rebel Wife will probably be at the front holding the banner.
( I don't bother with all that )
I laugh when peepul mention that Coatbridge isn't a massive Celtic/ Catholic community.
Gartsherrie is a "hun" place in Coatbridge but everywhere else is at least a 80% Tim place.
My street has 24 houses in it and all 24 are Tims.
I would hate to stay anywhere else.
To be fair it was probably over 90% when I was younger.

Hi Buzz, I’m originally from Shawhead and I can well remember it being 90%+ Catholic and had the honour of being the most % catholic populated town in Scotland. St Bernard’s was my primary school and Columba High my secondary. Hail Hail.

Not from Glasgow guys, from north east but as a young boy in 70's, played for a local team, who was run by a Celtic mad family and who's dog was called Celtic.
Our team were called The Wombles, don't ask why, I have no idea but every year we played home and away matches against St Catherines School Glasgow.
I recall on 3 occasions staying with different familes in Glasgow amd playing on red cinder pitches, an experence I had never had and won't forget tbh.
Visiting the Barras for first time and taking in a game each visit. I recall one game was v Partick Thistle and another against Hibs.
For a young Celtic fan it was awesome, staying with a Celtic family in a neighbourhood, the majority of which were Celtic fans.
Although I was already a Celtic fan, that helped cement my love of the club and people who supported the club. Even now, when on holiday me and my wife, who grew up in a sheep supporting family, but is Celtc mad like me, we find the local Celtic pub, bcause we know we will be welcomed and have great crack.
