Now my point here is that most of us would be over the moon with this and rightly so most of the time.
But with the money we have got we actually spend 1.5m. That would be crazy if you ask me it has to be more.
I know its purely hypothetical but the window could look like this or similar.

We can’t just look at the price we pay for players, that’SS only half the financial part of the deal . Wages new players agree to are very important
We can’t just buy McKenna and Tierney because they both once claimed to love Celtic . Both these players would want wages far in excess of what Celtic ever paid . McKenna was talking about. £80k per wk from a Championship side.

Don't want KT back far to injury prone and McKenna is only in par with scales so don't want him either.

No KT unfortunately, that would be a massive funancial risk, and no McKenna either, he is not near good enough.
Why take him and O'Shea, the defenders we have already are better than McKenna.
Also we won't get 25 minion for MOR as in general leagues like EPL don't see us as a league on par with the EFL where they happily pay 40 million for players, Southampton and Atlanta proved that with derisory offers (if true) of 14 million.
Hopefully that is the thoughts of other clubs and he will stay.
I would be delighted with Baliswisha and Tessman but if MOR stays and we get Bernardo, there is no need for Tessman, he is nowhere near Hatate level.

Why should give a rats what EPL teams are ‘willing‘ to pay, or anyone one else for that matter. Always sounds like these offers would be doing us a favour. We set the valuation, pay it or FO! We can all see MOR is getting too good for Celtic at the current level we constrain ourselves to. Personally hope he sees 8 CL games as the best showcase of his talent in his career so far rather than going to some EPL relegation battlers. At the rate he is improving, he is heading for the top.

As much as even a half fit Tierney is x10 times the player Taylor is, that would be an expensive short term fix.
Something else to factor in, should Frimpong leave Leverkusan we're due at least £7M as a sell on fee.

CB, it ok saying that but we need these league clubs to be looking at him and they are the clubs with the money to pay top dollar, whether you or I like it or.
He has been here 3 years and BR said himself that is the average shelflife of a player here.
