{Ed007's Note - I'm not sure if there's any truth about interest in Diawara, we have spoke to LAFC & his agent about Bogusz but it looks like his club don't want to sell as they can't replace him with their transfer window being closed.
Kyogo's agent continues to try and engineer a move, Celtic have set their price and have told his agent that the price is higher if Spurs decide to make a move.}

So the solution to getting done at the back post due to greg being 5ft 9 is to find another 5ft 9 left back. thatll tick all the boxes?.
{Ed007's Note - The solution to that is have better CBs in the air and a GK that will command his box better and come off his line for the box.
There's 4 players involved in that weakness before the ball reaches the back post, the RB for allowing the cross to come in, the 2 CBs who neither track the ball or get into a position to attack it and the GK not commanding his area, especially the 6 yard box.

Some fans are hard to please. A 25yr old with 11 caps for a top dutch side and over 150 apps in a very good league. Cost Ajax £12m at one time. May have lost his way there but a lot of players have at ajax in the last couple of seasons as they have been way off by their standard.

IMO right back was worse than left back in terms of a poorly played position last season, lcb as good as scales was I think he was good compared to himself and took us all by surprise, scales as our ball carrier out defence our aerial commander or last line defence against a break wasn’t up to the quality we need and it showed, Greg Taylor needs competition, and needs rested at times, im not convinced by the i opinion it’s a problem area and needs replaced, a loan to buy player would be good shout with Taylor’s contract s.

We now have keeper who commands his box but need a quality LCB to support CCV and O'Shea is the one for me. Well worth 7 million if that's the price. Better on the ball than Scales who kills any momentum we have going forward and very uncomfortable against the high press.
Those 2 and Engel will be a very good window, so only another 15-20 million to spend ?.

Agree with you Mally, I'm not Greg's biggest fan but he's played more than well enough over the past 3 seasons to earn a new deal.
We need someone in to push him and/ or replace him.

He's only got a year left on his Man Utd deal so there was never any chance of him going to TRIFC on loan but it'll depend on how much Man Utd want for him but the lure of the CL could be vital, it's been said that the player wants to go to a team that plays European football.}

Playing for Man Utd am sure he must have a decent pedigree, a don’t know anything about the boy, is it a player of any interest to you Edd.
{Ed007's Note - There's no doubt the lad has great natural talent/ability - he came through Clairefontaine, the French FAs School of Excellence - but he is a bit rough round the edges and tactically naive at the top (Pub League) level although he done well out on loan at Birmingham where he "broke all sorts of records for distance covered & all that stuff" according to their manager John Eustace.

I said I'd have preferred a loss to a draw, but obviously a win was always preferable. For a lot of the game we didn't look like scoring, but the subs made a difference. Greg Taylor was brilliant when he came on. Good goal from Hatate, although about the only thing he did right.
Horrible conditions, hard dirty opponents, away from home. The kind of result that wins titles.

I think I'm seeing Celtic rise to an even better level this season. Even though we have had more CL games to play, a ridiculous amount of International breaks and very rando KO times, plus a host of 'conveniently' scheduled away games we are dealing with it all much better than previous seasons. Yes, we are stuttering and stalling in a couple of first halves, but the class, confidence and determination has shone through regardless. I have also been very impressed with the managers role in all of this and his summaries and analysis.
Ignore the distractions and calamities elsewhere Celtic and maintain the focus for the rest of the season and the glory awaits.

IF MOR and Kyogo are sold, our board will have amassed in excess of £70M if reported figures are accurate.
By any standard in the history of Scottish football, these amounts are unheard of, and, at the same time, do not include either the money already in the bank (£100M+ or the incoming CL money (£30M+) .

I've read that Motherwell are aiming to receive a club record fee for young Miller of no less than £4M.
This would be an increase on their current record fee of £3.25M for DT back in 2020.
The media love banding about the numbers and it's no surprise this then causes debate amongst supporters.
At the end of the day if BR likes him and thinks he can improve, increase in value and contribute to our continued success along the way, then get him signed.

On DT, we will never fully appreciate how big an impact the injury he had and subsequently required surgery for when we attempted to sign him the first time round.
