The only way I would give Taylor a deal is if he understood that he would be seen as a squad player at the most.

I like Valle however I’m unsure how difficult that deal would be.
Wouldn’t surprise me if we went down the Benfica loan route again as it’s now worked twice for us.
Of course there’s always the KT option in the background.
Our current performance in the CL can only help us with recruitment.

I wouldn't personally bring kt back, while I loved him when he was out player. It rarely works out for players coming back plus his injuries are far to frequent, Paying him to play 4-6 games a season would b a waste of a wage.
I like your idea for a benfica loan to buy tho, Porto/ sporting might b worth a look at too.

When was the last time we had a keeper as good or better than KS? Shot stopping, composure and ability with the ball at his feet and overall leadership. He has been our best signing of the summer, what an acquisition he has been.

He is the complete package. Boruc and Forster have possibly been better shot stoppers, although he is very good at that himself.
However, his one on one, distribution and comfort on the ball are second to none.
It is odd that all our greatest keepers have come in the last 20 years.

I reckon only about 4 or 5 are not Sevco Supporters.
Clancy, Robertson, Walsh, MacDermid and possibly Euan Anderson.
