At least we are well covered defensive, but the injuries just keep coming and it makes you wonder why? It can't all be bad luck; can it?

2.) 07 Oct 2021 08:58:32
No it’s because we have a good 11 but they have all been playing 2 games a week plus International travelling and games.
The style of all out high energy will cause more injuries when we are unable to rotate squad with players of a similar standard.

The way ange is talking forrest out for a wee while calmac maybe back for leverkusen, the thought of Easter Road or Pittodrie without them is scary.

I don’t think Stephen Glass will see out the year at Aberdeen.
I just hope he’s still their manager for the next couple of weeks.
Celtic can’t afford to have 3 hoodoo league stadiums and expect to win the league.
We’ve already lost at Ibrox for a 4th time this year and we still can’t win at Livingston.
Our record at Easter Road is shocking and we need to go there next month and win, if we want to challenge for this title.

2.) 23 Sep 2021 12:25:36
Exactly, we have put ourselves in a position where we can't afford to lose many more points already.

3.) 23 Sep 2021 13:39:07
Abd there's a pressure that comes with that, can we handle it.

4.) 23 Sep 2021 15:38:01
It's obvious we are short of players in key areas, but a few of the squad that are available, are all experienced and capable, if they give 100% and help the new signings and younger guys settle-in. McCarthy is overdue a performance and as long as Bitton is away from the back four he could also do a job. It's also high time MJ made up for lost time and took the pressure off Abada who is struggling.
Hopefully, Giakoumakis is close to making his debut as well?
I have posted before about the injuries and shortages, but we need every player that is lucky enough to be here to dig-in and perform with the same effort and drive as the regulars have shown 'til now.

5.) 23 Sep 2021 23:30:08
Buzz i agree, can't see Glass being there much longer.

He was hyped up as being Aberdeens saviour, but I reckon McInnes was a better manager and they have regressed.

6.) 24 Sep 2021 11:05:21
The good thing about going to Easter Road is that they will play an open game of football if we had all our players fit then I could see us scoring 3 or 4 but also conceding a couple.

20 Sep 2021 08:29:50
We're still being linked with Robbie Brady, I'd take him, he has a decent left foot is at a good age and can aye on the flanks as we're still light there imo.

Mallythetally67

1.) 21 Sep 2021 09:24:22
I was against it at the end of last season but we could do with an extra body in to cover wide areas as MJ and Forrest are injury prone.

2.) 22 Sep 2021 13:10:26
More importantly he can play left back .

17 Sep 2021 20:49:08
Looks like nicolsen is our new guy according to company's house.

17 Sep 2021 18:27:17
Connell back to QP would suggest he's no future at the club, maybe young lawell is the future if it's midfield we're needing help.

Mallythetally67

1.) 17 Sep 2021 19:43:38
Mally he was never giving a chance in any game. Plus he has mcgregor, mccarthy, soro, bitton, Shaw all ahead of him. Better for the lad to move and play ball.

2.) 17 Sep 2021 20:46:47
Deffo ter ?.

3.) 18 Sep 2021 11:00:45
Would have liked to have seen more of him but I suppose you trust the people who see him every day to make the right decisions?

4.) 18 Sep 2021 13:50:24
I also would have liked to see him get a chance, I know it's a different league but 3 goals and 5 assists in 11 games for Queens Park is a good return from a midfielder.

Although not the finished article turnbull can't half hit hem and they tend to stay hit when he catches it right.

Got to say boli played well as did the team some saying he was rotten not sure what they were watching, abada again for me giving little his final ball is awful and he needs to improve forrest jersey for the taking imo.

Mallythetally67

1.) 17 Oct 2021 09:53:39
At present, Abada is an automatic pick but with JF (and even MJ) back in training, he will soon have competition and probably a wee rest?

2.) 17 Oct 2021 11:23:15
He's been getting away with what mikey johnstone and taylor who isn't even a winger get slaughtered for.

3.) 17 Oct 2021 12:27:54
Abada like forrest is quite inconstant but his goal involvements (like forrrest when fit) is good 16 games and 10 goals or assists which is good return. I hope when forrest returns the competition will improve both players and we see more consistency from both.

4.) 17 Oct 2021 12:31:52
Inconsistent not inconstant that should say.

5.) 17 Oct 2021 13:43:24
Abada looks more comfortable at Celtic Park and gets more involved.
He’s been quiet in a few of our away matches this season.

6.) 17 Oct 2021 13:56:36
He is but has been struggling for weeks.

Bayo getting punted after 6 months just one in a long line of poor signings by our club, and we scramble around trying to punt them,
On the game today no silly mistakes just win the game, no room for error.

1.) 16 Oct 2021 10:36:22
When the transfer window started Celtic had 4 strikers and when it closed we only had 3 and it’s cost us points already.
It would be different if our 3 strikers we fit and ready to play but it was a gamble because that wasn’t the case.
I think not signing Nesbitt has cost us 5 points already.
The signs were there when Ajeti only had 15 touches against Ross County.
He had one unlucky shot against Livingston but his movement was shocking.
It was the same against Dundee Utd when a 16 year old got the better of him.
Nesbitt scored a hat trick at Livingston last season and I’m sure he would’ve scored against a 16 year old Utd defender.

2.) 16 Oct 2021 11:15:07
Buzz Nisbet was a guy we should have definitely signed. Along with Lewis ferguson. For me there seems to be a thing about signing scottish players. We would rather go for some guy in the reserves or squad player down south the get the best scottish players. Mc cann was another one we could have looked at.

3.) 16 Oct 2021 11:32:14
The young Hibs full back Doig is 2 footed and would fit into Ange’s system.
He wouldn’t be fazed getting the ball played into feet, in the middle of the park
And he has plenty of pace and potential.
Nesbitt, Ferguson and Doig would make a difference.

{Ed007's Note - Jeando Fuchs is out of contract at Dundee Utd next summer, Buzz. I'd 100% take him as a free or even for a nominal fee in January. Since Mikey mentioned him a few months ago I've kept an eye on him and he could definitely do a job for us and his performance against us the other week - apart from his tackle on McCarthy - was MOTM for me.}

4.) 16 Oct 2021 12:11:42
Hardy bit of stuff ed, Nisbet would suit us perfectly his movement and scores all types of goals look at his goal against sevco.

{Ed007's Note - ?

5.) 16 Oct 2021 12:20:38
Yes to Fuchs.

6.) 16 Oct 2021 13:43:55
Would take fuchs but don't think Nisbet is good enough.

It was strange how ange played him against livi out the blue and then he disappeared, thought he was one of our better players, on the cv thing he done wrong let's move on he gets payed to play for our club so that'll do for me, on the game 3 points a must but it's a difficult venue.

He needs time buzz hopefully he gets it, we will definitely get a few bloody noses but if we're still in touch come the Jan window and he gets backed who knows, but prepare for some negative comments myself included ?but as long as its fair there's nothing g wrong with it ?.
