Have to ask, watching on Premier Sports, who was that roaster next to Miller and Stewart as co -commentator?

Alan Hutton mate.

Thanks Zosh, not sure who I was expecting to be honest. You could hear the pain, I just couldn't think who it might be. Sounded more like Alan Cumming.

Hutton was on BBC as well.

Not pretty on the eye at all. At one point in the s3cond half we even made them look ok. Cream always rises though.

Shushburger.

I was thinking that a few of the boys must have still had hangovers from last weekend.

Henke when team is on top its relatively easy to win when playing well, but it takes resolute and determine team to win when opponents are trying to battle and bully us especially in second half . Today as a team and subs they were not going to be beaten.

Des, we were far too sloppy. Things that I and many others have been worried about, that have been hidden lately, caused issues today. A back 4 that aren't ball players, two wingers that aren't as effective as we should be and a general feeling that we aren't very physical. That wee trick thwy were trying at corners gave me the fear and not for a needless push by Raskin could have cost us.

Don't want to complain too much though. We all know what needs to be improved, onwards and upwards. Hun tears to wash down the hushburger and finished off with jelly and ice cream. Another weekend of celebrations.

Just watched highlights and surely Sky can't keep employing Kenny Miller for reasons other than comedy. What an absolute throbber. Even the staunchest recognise that it's a red card in today's game. According to Kenny the decision was "incredible".

If today's game was played at Dens park it woulda been abandoned due to Waterlogged pitch because of kennys tears ?.

It was comedy gold.

I'd expect Idah to be done over the coming days and surely a third striker brought in.

I didn't offer what my dealership wanted for my car. If that makes me a cheapskate then so be it, I ended up with the car and for less than I was originally quoted. That's just business and it's what the vast majority (tempted to say every) of clubs will do when agreeing a transfer fee. Maybe with all the millions in the bank we could just offer more than what a selling club wants, we wouldn't be cheapskates then.

I follow Newcastle so I watch them quite a lot and I'm not bowled over by this. He's decent, and more than good enough for the league, but I was hoping for better.

It's a bit of an indictment on our transfer strategy when we yearn for several players that left, to come back. I have no idea what level Wanyama is at these days but that's certainly a type of player I'd like us to sign.

MIP, if we replace MO'R with a better player for a fraction of what we sell him for then fair play to the club. But it's a big ask.

You can't keep an unhappy player. How much MO'R is angling for a move I'm not sure. But he certainly didn't let speculation affect his performances like we have seen with some players. So kudos there. The club will have their price, and once it is met, it's down to Matt.

Now I value MO'R highly. 25-30m. That's the sort of player I want to keep because we ain't buying one.

My issue is, would 25m be reinvested properly into two or three real quality players that actually improve us? Shame on me for thinking that it would because we've been burned before.

KS sounds all but done, but he deserves a wee holiday surely. Thankfully there's another 'keeper on the way in that sounds like it's basically done. Bernardo is on his way and I'd expect Idah to at least meet up with the squad in the States.

I haven't seen much of him lately but he was actually very good the season Leicester went down from the Premier League, as daft as that might sound. Had some good moments in the Euros too, so to be at that level suggests he's still got it. Plenty of experience, I can imagine him being a good character, I'm going good signing with this one.

What is a stable squad? Mid-aged players like Hatate and MO'R would move away. The youngsters move away. Having to replace a keeper in one or two seasons isn't that big of an issue.
