As our main striker Mally? Do you think he can take us to the next level? I'd honestly rather sign Idah, as well as another main target as I can see Kyogo away. If we got Miovski he'd need to be 2nd choice but I can still think of 2nd choices I'd rather have.

I agree royjac. It's the easy comparison due to nationality but you can certainly draw parallels in the way he can play with his back to goal, link up and provide a bit of physicality. Yet capable of a bit of class. What I'd do for GG in our squad right now. I know Kyogo was fab under Ange but I wish he rotated them more. GG never really disappointed and it's understandeable he wanted to do one.

Kev, I'm certainly not blown away by Idah. I'd love to see the list of targets and how far down it Idah was, given that he's actually on any sort of list ?.

Can we still attract a Keane/ Bellamy? Have we tried? In my mind we could have found better than Idah given we have former City Group recruitment analyst in the building. So I am at a loss there.

But, we know domestically Kyogo can do the business and Oh has a decent record given his minutes. If those two stay fit and with other players returning, there's no excuses for this squad not kicking on. This team is good enough to win the league.

We need to see a statement of intent this summer though.

It's purely cover. I'm thinking we'll tey for a striker in the summer when better targets become more available.

Reports saying SVH was hoping for a more concrete offer from us. Again, HOPEFULLY, this is due to targets in the summer.

I certainly agree eith the vetting of refs Ed, the issue I've thought of before though is - how many support either Celtic or Rangers, like the rest of the football supporting element of a small population, would it not be quite a high number? What would that leave us with? Which brings in that great idea of UEFA appointing refs. Why couldn't you see that happening?

Henke

{Ed007's Note - It's a closed shop though, until referees from places like Aberdeen, Dundee, Perth etc with no skin in the Glasgow game get a chance over the LRA we'll never know how it would work out.
How many of our refs aren't from the Central Belt? I can only think of one(?) and he's a scumbag Tory b@stard!}

2-1 to us was going to be my bet Gerry. A couple of mates in a group chat were talking about CCV being out but that appears to be nonsense. Now I'm on 2-0.

I think the team picks itself. Kyogo has a great record against them. Maeda keeps Tavernier busy, and as well as NK doesn't really have any competition. Hatate, CalMac and MO'R are our best midfield and have done it time again against them. Scales and Welsh are clearly the preferred CB pairing in CCV's absence. Full backs and keeper don't need a mention.

The rules state that criticism of officials can't indicate incompetence. BR literally called them incompetent. I'm not really sure what there is to contest never mind what Bolongoli has to do with it, Buzz.

I often question the real talent of our young players whn they don't get on against some SPL sides. However in this case I'm sure the SPL is a step up from whoever the San Marino U21s are playing for.
