Ed do you think Maeda will sign a new contract?
{Ed007's Note - Honestly I'm not even sure what I think he will do, he has 2 years left on his deal so it's not THAT pressing right now although it would be good to get him tied down on a new long term deal. One of the factors could be depending on Rodgers plans going forward & I think the same about the Taylor situation, if GT has decided to stay then that probably means that Rodgers has talked him round and promised him certain things, GT isn't going to sign if Rodgers is only going to be here for another year so hopefully Rodgers relationship with Maeda is enough to convince him to stay too.
On the other hand there will be plenty of interest in Maeda this summer and at nearly 28 this could be his ideal time for him to get a "big" move, his stock has never been higher and who knows what kind of season he will have next year.}

Not sure about the GT situation Edd about whether BR stays or not, a think he’s holding out for what he wants not what he's been offered as av said b4 his wife isn't to keen on moving away with the new arrival, so thers a bit of a stalemate ther mate well that's the word in Town. totally agree about Maeda but would love him to sign again he frightens the life out of them.

ED007 we would all love Maeda to stay, but as you say he has been exceptional for us, but so was Kyogo when he first came, who is to say Maeda form will continue, also there is our Board to consider, if a big offer comes in our Board will sell him.

He is reaching his peak as a player playing in Europe . His manager BR has worked out how to get the best out of him .
It may have taken the shock Kyogo move and Celtic not able to sign any of the players they wanted for us to find how how to use Maeda best . It seems he is best playing both winger and striker throughout match . No defender can relax as he doesn’t give any a moments peace .
We haven’t sold anyone over last 3/ 4 yrs that comes near Maeda in helping his fellow players.

BR seems to be giving Idah a few starts to see if he can get his game together and start scoring.
He got unfairly criticised after the last game but he did a lot of work coming back and winning us the ball. Not his job but he clearly wanted to be involved.
He does need game time but that leaves Kyogo out which is no great but I agree with Ed, I think Kyogo will go in the summer.

I am not surprised that that Police Scotland do not disclose how much it costs for their so called policing of Orange marches and other equally bigoted marches . It’s no surprise that they don’t charge these sectarian Protestant anti Catholic march organisations as it is really a love from the Heart for most officers involved who would be likely to be marching if not turning a blind eye and deaf ear to the marchers.
I believe Police Scotland charge every Scottish League football clubs for the service they perform at home matches. Even though their work can be completely different, at Celtic Park police do their best to make the occasion as unenjoyable as possible, by hindering sections of crowd entering or leaving.
At Ibrox Pk they try to have it a fun day out for officers and their fans alike, again it’s a special group of officers who are employed in the stadium, both blind and deaf so they cannot see or hear any sectarian bigotry from their relatives and friends.

These awards are relative and context is very important. One manager has just won the Championship with a team that was playing in League One last season.
