Regarding transfers last night Brendan said Nothing at my end. I haven't spoken to Michael (Nicholson Ceo) recently. There has been a process in place to try and get players in but I have nothing to add to that
I thought he had a meeting during the week regarding transfers.

I am neither a negotiator nor a spokesman for B R, but I think haven’t spoken on Wednesday about his long meeting with M Nicholson, he is saying on Saturday night that he has nothing to add .
I can’t understand how he would, first of all have another meeting, as that would indicate panic and 2 nd what does anyone expect BR to say . He is not going to announce new signing (s) . Somewhere in the midst of USA is hardly venue to announce new signings for European club . What is the point in him saying they have started talking to a specific club about a specific player, as that only puts pressure on himself and club .
So, really BR had only a no comment, comment to make.

How does next rounds work, know first 8 in league wait for playoffs between 9-24.
So does 9th play 24th then 10th play 23rd and so on. Or is 9 to 16 seeded.
Tried to look on Eufa website but can't find how it works.
If 9th plays 24th system we would be looking at 15th pl getting real Madrid or Bayern.

As much as I enjoyed Tuesday and will watch the highloghts again and again, we still have some very tough games to play and I as I saw on the BBC CL show last night, most teams can win on any given night.
However, I do feel this season, the manager and squad have learned from past experience and are currently in a fantastic position.
Celtic are a joy to watch this season and the team spirit and work ethic all through the squad has been magnificent.

Buzz, if it wasn't a seeded/ unseeded draw and they went with 9th play24th etc. You could get teams purposely loosing or trying to draw the last game so they would get an "easier" opponent.

Or you could have weakened teams for the last couple of games because the club has easily Qualified for playoffs but have no chance of a Top 8 place.
Doing it the way Benny described, keeps it interesting until the last minute because a late goal could give you a different opponent in the playoffs.
