Looks as though all said and done we’re going to have a decent window, on paper though with Matt and others away have we even spent that much money, engles transfer im very happy with but I think there should have been another big money signing regardless if Matt went or not ( outwith idah ) we usually get a decent loan to buy in on deadline day, that’s the ones that excite me.

In the last 4 or 5 years I can’t remember us not having a loan to buy player in the door if not a few by end of window, this option has been probably our main source of quality and works well for us, also it’s usually very late, fact this is still to happen, is exciting ….

Celtic have previously had deals being finalised in the last hour, after the English window has closed.
This summer the Scottish transfer window is only opened for 30 minutes after the English window closes.

We really have never been very proactive at the start of a window, we do a lot of business near the end and this time it looks no different.
The only bonus this year is we don't have qualifiers to consider, which is why a lot of people are annoyed with the club, as it was a chance to get players in and settled but as we support Celtic, it as never going to be straight forward.
Hopefully we will get 2 or 3 in soon and we can just concentrate on games.

So I pretty much trust the club and how they run, I see and know no fan that knows better than our current board, do transfers drag on, yes in fans eyes but no so much, there’s plenty other teams who need/ want to strengthen but haven’t yet……Bernardo took time but Celtic got a way better deal than agreed previously…. Idah taking time but I don’t see where there’s an issue to be had if we get our man and at a suitable cost
My issue I do have, is we had targets not available in winter, that should be available now but, where is the news on these, they all can’t have moved on it clubs now unwilling to sell, and this is my only issue, over next few weeks I fully expect idah to sign, and certain areas to be resolved for strengthening along with squad players out aswell, not to forget what’s seems to be a coup in our gk dept.

Devils advocaat, meada brings better work rate, would score as many goals as Kyogo, was better player in Japan was also considered the better of 2 for national team, it’s obv to me Kyogo is the better player but there’s an arguement not to replace Kyogo with a similar striker,

IMO right back was worse than left back in terms of a poorly played position last season, lcb as good as scales was I think he was good compared to himself and took us all by surprise, scales as our ball carrier out defence our aerial commander or last line defence against a break wasn’t up to the quality we need and it showed, Greg Taylor needs competition, and needs rested at times, im not convinced by the i opinion it’s a problem area and needs replaced, a loan to buy player would be good shout with Taylor’s contract s.

I honestly have no issue with any of our business so far, I think the club and those running are proving why fans shouldn’t run football clubs, can’t wait to see our squad come end of window.

For a player who had. 4m release agreed to an Italian club 6 months ago looks like Norwich done is and won the transfer back and forth, personally I think we should have concentrated on our 3rd striker and run this one to end window and kept fee down to 6.5 m, positives are at 23 we will get most of it back if not more on any outgoing, hopefully at that cost there’s no sell on clause either,
I know we have the money and I’m in minority but I’m happy with purse strings being tight, now we have paulo and idah secured, sorted our problem gk position our window can start, epl teams and transfers in general been slow prob driven by epl fin fair play rules, as they look to strengthen there fair play positions and move money about to have funds available we should see more movement and availability of players, problems we will see will be epl teams need to sell there younger players over loan to buys as the money is regarded as total profit,

I feel for player in this scenario, if club transfer politics get in way of move he’s forced to try and push move which reflects bad on him and doesn’t guarantee he gets the move he wants.

Kyogo would fit city model, his movement and workrate would give the team something and pep won’t care who scores as long as city score, ffp may be the driver in this, they need haalannd back up and won’t want to spend 50 mil plus on one.

I really like oriley, and don’t want to lose him, but let’s not forget he was definitely one of the ones that went missing during last seasons bad patch, he showed his class at start and end of season but I don’t think he’s irreplaceable, ideally I’d love club to sell him one more year playing and winning with danish national captain but when he goes we surely will have a stand in -in mind.

Facepainter, pedros arguably done best job of any person in his position Europe wide, do I agree with everything absolutely not, do I particularly know or like pedro absolutely not, but I do know there’s people more informed than yourself who don’t put him at the forefront of our current transfer dealings, pretty much like me and every other fan you have no clue what goes on behind the doors at Celtic park, so your silly happy clapper remark reflects more on your uninformed self than it does the fans who look forward to getting back inside parkhead supporting our team over trolling the club.
