Heard anything regarding any interest in mikey johnston at all? Some might disagree but I just don't think he's good enough for us and he's had upteen chances to impress but I just don't think he's good enough, it says something when he's played under 3 managers who haven't took to him either.

Question I have though is how much should we be looking for? The way I'm looking at this is if he was a permanent West Brom player the second half of last season producing they performances what would they value him at? At least £10m I reckon by the way things go nowadays after half a dozen decent performances down there, just something to think about.

I think Mikey will have a decent career but he is not suited to what Rodgers wants from his wingers. He is comfortable with the attacking side but not the pressing and defensive side.

So he's not good enough for us, 3 managers haven't took to him, he done well for half a season so your looking for 10 million for him, I'd bite yer hand off at 2 million.

I backed Johnstone as long as I could but Celtic isn’t the club for him.
I still expect him to have a decent career elsewhere.

Given age and a full international proven in the championship the fee should be around 8-10 million.
I think Celtic would bite at an offer around 4-5 million as it’s only a matter of time until he’s out with another injury and the value decreases further.

In the current market Mikey Johnston's value I'd estimate to be about ten bob, a packet of Monster Munch and a Twix.

I'd be delighted with anything we get for him and I hope that there are plenty who follow him out the door during this and the coming windows.

Buzz more like our league isn't for him.

Better all round if he moves on as going by the manager's thoughts on players work-rate and other qualities he prefers in a Celtic player.
It's hard to put a price on a player that WBA got the best out of but it should be comparable with that level or a player + cash swap might be an alternative for the right player?

Jamie,
It’s more like the Celtic Jersey is too heavy for Mickey because it’s not as if the Scottish League is the best Quality.

If oh is away for 4.5m surely we can get that for Mikey.
It was banded about we could get 6m. He was class for West Brom mind you.

I have watched MJ for many seasons, and I have to say many of our fans have given him a hard time, and really the fans have been flattered by MJ only to be let down by following good play by something very stupid. Every time he has had a run of form he has finished up with a long time injury .
I think we should move hat whatever money we can get . Not wise to pipit a fee on him as we don’t want him any more and should sell at best price we can get .
M j is the type of player we don’t want taking up the place of a youngster at training.

Is the Twix not stretching it Pedro? ?.

2 banks of 5 that's not suiting him.
