CCV is injured and it's obviously bad enough that Lagerbielke's loan has been pulled. I said yesterday the boy has been treated shamefully by Celtic and should have been allowed to go. Scores against Feynoord in Champions League and sees stories in press the next day making it public he's away in January. The manager has made it clear he isn't good enough yet he's denied the opportunity to go and resurrect his career in Italy. We don't want you son but you're going nowhere.

Good post J. its almost like they're trying to hurt us deliberately. with the finance at our disposal there is no excuse for the penny pinching. they love trotting out the numbers at the agm and gloating because sevco are skint but as we've said many times this could bite us hard on the arse.

JFP Turnbull has to go this window or we get nothing for him in the summer when he leaves at end of his contract.
We still have O'Riley, McGregor, Bernardo, Holm, iwata, hatate and McCarthy. So we are not exactly weak in midfield.
Our major problem this season is not that we don't have good players, we just have too many under performing and getting injured.
We looked lovely we were starting to turn the corner and our board banned our fans and we nosedived.

JFP . I don’t think many of us agree with the lack of players signed . I would love to know what the Board’s thinking is . It seems that the decision not to spend any more money was made by someone 10 days or a fortnight ago . I foolishly was relaxed up to end of last week as I thought, that no matter how bad things were Celtic would sign a half decent striker and LB even if both were on loan with no agreement on buying . For whatever reason they decided not to do so, signing Idah hasn’t lifted many hearts but even a full back of similar standard would leaves us a wee bit happier .
Unfortunately we will never know the reason why?

Totally agree JFP. Can you imagine if we had our AGM in February, the suits would hear all about it. Instead they will be hiding until the summer.

Spot on JFP, they way they have treated Lager is truly appalling. Even with CCV out he will still be behind Maik, Scales and Welch and maybe even Iwata. Accept latter 2 are still injured.

Your bang on the one thing the Celtic board are good at is shafting the Celtic support.
I’ve said repeatedly other than DD who’s a billionaire in his own right the rest of the board are millionaires because we made then millionaires and that includes Peter Lawell.
The club has £72m in the bank because of you and me and thousands like us not because of anything Peter Lawell or his laddie or Michael Nicholson or Dermot Desmond for that matter have done.
We need to get rid.

They know we can do nothing to remove them. The pickings are too lush for them to leave. They know no matter what we do, they remain in charge. AGM’s are at most a few hours, once a year. Nothing to these people.
But on the bright side, I have a box of Maltesers, just about to be opened.
