Fantastic.
Subtle the Japanese wanting to tidy the dressing room which they did at the World Cup and good stuff the wee man buying into to the humour ‘Just leave it Kyogo’.
It’s a great to be able to laugh at yourself at the end so fair play to Brendan Rodgers as well.
PS: I burnt his book at the time though.

I don’t normally read books but I was halfway through Brendan’s book when he left Celtic.
Years later I put it in the bin.

I know sad for a grown man but we all took his departure bad.
Anyway that was then and this is now he is the Celtic manager and an elite coach and I’m behind him 100%.
I couldn’t understand what was in returning for Brendan Rodgers and still don’t. He wasn’t going to better what he achieved during his previous tenure and he knew we loved the Spurs manager who also had a clean sweep of honours so he’d a hard act to follow. The SPL is an object of ridicule for the little Englangers south of us so it wasn’t going to help him work his ticket back to the pub league he’d have been better going to Saudi.
He knew there would be resistance among sections of the support and many who would never forgive him. He doesn’t need the money. The only thing I was left with was making a fist of Europe but the board’s performance on the last transfer window had me questioning that. Apparently there were many in his family who hadn’t spoken to him since he left. I genuinely believe part of his reason was to restore relationships with the club he loves and to make amends.
His appearance at James McGrory Park for St. Roch’s centenary and some of his actions and comments would suggest he’s back a humbler man than the man that left and is genuine. Royston isn’t a place to go if you have an ego and intend to bull$hiit people and the one thing Brendan Rodgers isn’t is daft.
He obviously had to give his blessing to the end of the video so fair play to him as I said.

I totally agree with you JFP. Call me naive, but I truly believe he can only be here to try and make amends in his mind. What other reason is there when he knew such a big percentage of the fan base would be against the appointment? I only hope the board back his vision the way they appeared to back Ange's so speedily.

I remember Mo Jo running out the tunnel at Celtic Park his first game against us at home since signing for them.
I’d have burnt Mo Jo that day never mind his book although I doubt he ever read one never mind wrote one. A man remembered fondly by neither side.

Ed maybe this isn't for the forum, but I'm confused and maybe you could help me understand by private email if you want.
When I tongue in cheek called JFP a person for burning books it seems to have changed the word to 'person'. Initially I thought it was due to autocorrect, but in my second post it also changed person (Natzee) to 'person' as well, making me out to be a luntic. I'm just wondering whether the word is banned? Cheers.
{Ed007's Note - There's a pile of "bad" words that get changed to person mate, for ages the word "Scunthorpe" was automatically banned because it had a Kris Boyd in the middle of it.}
