Seen on a Celtic site someone saying Bernardo and idah are the "real deal" and we must sign them . now between probably will cost £12 million . I believe both would be prospect / potential type signings and won't be automatic starters . that's a lot of money that could be used elsewhere for essentialy squad players . what do you think.

Drb - both are decent prospects, but would they help us progress in Europe? I suspect that we will be the whipping Bhoys again when our next European campaign starts. We require significantly better quality in most areas of the park. I fear it will be the 'same old, same old' unless we really splash out on some real talent. Buy some players that Brendan does not have to coach. Dare I say 'Oven Ready'?

Both are slightly above average.
But too expensive for players that wouldn’t be automatic starters.

Feel we need a bit Better than these two by quite a distance. Decent players but wouldn’t gamble more than £2 or £3m on Bernardo. Whilst I think Idah is better than Oh ( another poor signing) I feel he is limited and we need to aim higher. If we can get rid of Oh and replace him with Idah for no additional outlay worth the gamble.

If this season has taught us anything, it's that The Board need to learn from the shambolic summer transfer window and bring in the quality - rather than quantity that will make us a better team.

I'd definitely sign Idah, he's been a revelation! Jury's still out on Bernardo imo.

If we don’t land Idah or and Bernardo, that may work out ok, but only if we sign better. It may not be easy to sign better, especially when we have no recruitment team in place in mid April.
