Joel Pohjanpalo, Finnish international striker playing for Venezia in Italy. Top scorer in Serie B, valued at roughly €4m, Giakoumakis type striker. At 29 would be decent signing imo.

He had immense potential when he was young but never quite made it. Still an ok striker but we need much better IMO.

I. don’t think he can help us in our next four games for Celtic . 3 SPL games and Scottish Cup final . We should take every game one at a time and focus fully on next game . We could be on the cusp of something wonderful, or we could f. ck it all up by focusing on what is of no importance right now.

Maybe we should have some sympathy for the club of so learners equally distributed between Board, management and players and of course supporters. They have always been fed a diet of every decision going the way of Rangers . it can’t be easy this season when VAR for the first time is making decisions based on merit, rather than Lodge Attendance . This is obviously too much for h. ns to accept . Maybe to soften blow ref should allow them a pen immediately ball enters opponents box . At half time 4th official should go to their dressing room to see if P C wants to demand another pen which ref will be forced to give when ball enters opponents pen area .
No doubt this won’t satisfy all h. ns but it may leave referees safer& not at risk when they have their after match drink in a Rangers pub or club.

I hope we do go for Jota as Maeda, Yang and Palma are tragic! We need a new ST aswell as I feel we've had the best of Kyogo. Conditions didn't help. Too much sideways nonsense, hard watch if I'm honest!

Maeda form this season has been horrendous masked by his goals in champions league and against sevco. Suprised no one has Sutton in their team either.

I remember Madden sending off Ross McCrorie for Sevco and giving us a penalty in a cup semi. Madden was one of our better refs. The only mistake I remember him making was not awarding Griffiths a penalty late on against them but his view was restricted, had VAR been in place at the time it would've been reviewed.
