I agree Scales isn't brilliant but I'm not sure Rocki or Lager are any better. Yesterday he was not to blame for any of their goals. AJ was unlucky at pen but he was badly at fault for their 3rd in the build up. I think we need an upgrade at RB and a new CH to play with CCV. We are terrible at seeing out a game and have thrown away loads of points in the final few mins of games, games we were totally in control of. Is it stamina or lack of concentration.

Hopefully it's been because injuries and stop start season but ccv has been poor also.

A few of our fans reckon CCV has been poor this season but I disagree.
I think he’s been good when he’s actually played.
Maybe not to his brilliant best when he’s 100% fit but he’s definitely not been poor.
Celtic have still looked a better team this season with CCV in the team.

Scales was brutal yesterday and only plays because he's left sided. I'd play nawrocki as we had starfelt who was right sided. yang was poor when he came on as was mcgregor. at the pen watch thexreaction of the sevconians directly behind the incident not one appealed for it says it all really.

Some people used to slate Starfelt, but he is miles better than Scales, Nawrocki or Lagerbielke. We need an upgrade at CB to play alongside CCV. We also need a ball winning CDM with a bit of steel and strength as we are powder puff in midfield.

Poor would mean like Duffy, Hendry Etc.
A “poorer” CCV would still be a good Celtic CB over the last decade.

Need to cut CCV some slack as AJ and Scales have struggled for months now. CCV and Taylor are our only good defenders.
I feel Scales is just ahead of Welsh . Unfortunately, we can’t pick Rocki or Lager as they are not at it.
So Scale it is. I don’t think Rodgers rates Ralston, so we are left with AJ as well. So we are left with 2 out of 4 being good defenders, with not a lot of cover at the back. Yang and Palms don’t offer much defensively either. In tight games we will be up against it.
All in all we are struggling ar the back, but as we seen a couple of months back, we are worse without CCV and Taylor.

I have to disagree. Scales has been decent. Maybe not the kind of player we need to take us forward in Europe but I don't think he's been found wanting this season.
The 1st Glasgow derby he was fantastic.

Scales and Taylor are often blamed for losing match even before game starts, both of them give it all and what they lack in skill and ability they try to make up in effort . Many teams target their side of defence without getting real results. Sevco goals on Sunday came from right hand side of defence.
