I like Bernardo and if we were to trigger the buy option I think he could be a great player for us. He does drift in and out of games a bit (ala Ntcham) but with stability in the midfield around him and improved fitness/ coaching he can do a real good job for us. If it's £5m + just pay it, we spent plenty on players who can't get near the first 11.

the figure that I've read, that's being quoted for Bernardo, is 7.5M Euros which is approx £6.5M.
I like him, but if that's even close to the actual figure, it would have to be renegotiated as he's not worth that, IMO.

Definitely not up to it…… less than average.
We are behind a skint rangers who sacked their manager for a reason. Too many players not up to Iran’s he is one of them.

Not a player in the squad hardly who hasn’t been less than average. I think we will get him for £4-5m.

I would bring him in but see if we could renegotiate the fee.
We are likely to lose MO'R and Hatate although with his injury record this season, he might be here a bit longer.
We also seriously need to start looking for a longterm replacement for Calmac.

We are not behind them because they are skint, or because they sacked their manager, we are behind them because we brought in a manager, who was too pigheaded to carry on with a winning system, and wanted to prove that his way was THE way.
he has taken a bunch of players and tried to get them to play to a div system that they were playing last year, and his way is not THE way, the manager has to change his mindset, he has to step up and be a proper manager.

With greatest respect, that wasn’t my point either…. just trying to point out they aren’t in great shape. We should be wiping the floor with them.
My point is we have no football department, no vision, no governance and risk adverse decision makers.
Had we got things half right we would be out of site….

Maybe it’s my telly, but nobody has been anything more than average since the break. Starting to look getter now, but they have all been Pi sh. Not fairl holding Bernardo to a different level, none of them have been at the races.
