Ed007 I always thought Starfelt was a better defender than CCV myself like
I also think the midfield we have just now can become really quite good, Calmac, O'Reilly, Bernardo, Hatate, Odin Holm and Tomoki
If we could add another proper CDM we would be well sorted in there.

Mooy had 10 league assists in 29 league games last season proved he more than played his part.
Celtic could be doing with some of his creativity this season.
{Ed007's Note - And drop who for that creativity?We've went from him coming on to tighten up and see the game out to an assist every 3 games, I'm amazed he had to retire because according to a lot of Celtic fans he's up there with Zidane as one of the best all round midfielders in the world. Mooy wouldn't even be in Top 100 midfielders at Celtic this century and he was that pointless he would even make the Top 100 worst this century either..}

I find it hard to disregard his 10 league assists in 29 league games.
Jota also had 11 league assists last season.
O’Riley had the most with 12 assists but he play 9 league games more than Mooy.
I still maintain Celtic have missed the assists of Mooy and Jota.
Bernardo has only had 2 league assists although he’s only played 10 league games.
Bernardo should’ve played more league matches when Hatate has missed most of the season.
If he was good enough to start in the CL, he should’ve been good enough to start in the league.
Bernardo is getting better and I hope at the end of the season, he’s changed my mind.
But currently I would pick Mooy.

It’s mental that Hatate has only started 4 league games for Celtic this season and has been a huge loss.
Maybe Mooy should’ve stayed for one more season.

Starfelt and Mooy were tragic! Jota would rather try to show off than just do the simple thing. Don't miss any off them! Board done well to get the money for Jota and even better to get anything for Starfelt??
Hopefully Maeda is the next to go, another who is nowhere near a footballer!

While I think CCV is a decent player I'm not one of the guy's that think he is top class and worth 20 or 30 million
I don't think we miss Mooy, I think he served his purpose at the time and that was it. Bernardo in my opinion is better than him and I think Holm will become much better than him too.

Did CCV and Starfelt ever actually play in Europe together for us? I'm quite sure there was always one of them injured when we played, I could be wrong though.
