Young bernado option to buy
is supposedly around £6 million? Is he worth it or should we looking to buy experienced better or invest that sum in another area of the team? He's not been bad so far but hasn't really stood out either . can we afford a £6mill prospect when we have Holm who for me looks the better prospect . interesting to read views.

Not seen enough of him and I know we are well covered in midfield, but he seems to be down the manages pecking order? However, for a £6m player, he hasn't made the same impact as Palma for example.

Palma starting to play because he's starting consecutive games. the boy hasn't had that.

Agree Mally. Unless they are starting, you cannot assess them. It is down to how BR sees them and what they will bring to the team.
He is young and on what I have seen of him, there is a player in there but unless he gets more game time, it will be difficult to pay that fee for something we haven't seen enough of.

I'm sure I read somewhere that the clause for Bernardo is for between 1.5m and 2m.

I personally think he could be a very good player but given the little we've seen of him to date, £6M seems a stretch. I also agree with you on Holm.
Then again we've spent £1.5-£2M a time on countless 'projects' who amounted to nothing in recent years, if someone (Buzz? ) were to calculate how much that has cost us, then maybe £6M isn't so much after all. ?
