A 60 yard assist from mor if that had been debruyne it would have been headline news. What a pass think he's scored 15 and has 18 assists this season. maybe buzz can confirm that. we'll be lucky ti keep him.

The pass and the finish were top drawer and comparable to any league. If MOR had gone to LA Liga in January, they'd be calling him 'Mattadoriley' Ole.

It was a great pass, but made even more noteworthy because the finish was equally sublime. HH. ?.

We won't be able to keep him mally, unfortunately. he's a class act and will only get better. He would also flourish more if he had a proper dm beside him. He will break our transfer record no doubt and will take something very good to replace him. IMO he should be offered 50k pw and our top earner but lawwell and his mates can already smell the $$$. Signing him up would be a major sign of intent but i think it's a formality that he will go.

Brilliant stats Mally.

We have to do our very best to keep him, if we as supporters and Board are resigned to losing him or any other top players, we will have to use Champions League football purely as a cash cow, with us only in it for the money . The people who are responsible for signing our players, our recruitment team, find it difficult enough to sign players we can develop to super players . Why should we develop them for some other team and their supporters benefit and enjoyment, we should at least try to keep him . Let him know how much we appreciate him, doing nothing isn’t an option, as he will probably go.

{Ed007's Note - I know everyone and their dog expects MOR to leave this summer but I'd like to think we are trying to get him to stay, offer him a new improved contract, offer him wages on a par with CalMac, we can (hopefully) offer him another year in the CL and he'll still only be 24 next summer.
On the other hand if he impresses at the Euros for Denmark we could maybe get a wee bidding war going on for him.}

Great shout mate how about making him an offer he can't refuse and if he's on a long contract and someone comes in they'll have to pay top dollar.

{Ed007's Note - The Club - and I suppose us fans are the same - just seem to accept players moving on, they never come out and say "We offered X a new improved long term deal but they decided to move on" like you see from other clubs.
We need to up our game in trying to hold onto our better players, with the money already in the bank and the possible CL riches within reach there's no great need to sell one of our best players without fighting tooth and nail to keep them here.}

It’s almost a waste of time, the way we seem to let our better players leave without a worthwhile fight to keep them . As u say Ed007 pay them as much as possible and remind them that memories of winning leagues and cups are priceless and there are few clubs anywhere in Europe that can offer a better opportunity of winning a double or treble than Celtic.

{Ed007's Note - ??

In the end it will always come down to the players ambition. We do offer a unique experience and medal collection. But if you think you are good enough, who wouldn’t want to play at a higher level. Best we can hope is he ( and this goes for any star performers we are lucky enough to have ) gives us their best and generate a good income. As sad as that seems it is the reality.
