So at today's hearing, what would happen if our lawyers came straight out and accused the SFA of being a corrupt organisation? They would have no recourse against the lawyer if it's clear that it's his opinion. If they try to sanction the club because he's an agent for them then that would stop sevco being able to use 'club spokesman' pish. This could be the best opportunity we have ever had to clear this swamp, let's hope we take it.

I'm also hoping our club and it's legal team take this ideal opportunity with all the evidence and precedents available to call out this corrupt and biased cartel.

Steven Gerrard breached the same Rule 72 in 2020 and was given a Not Proven verdict.
Maybe Brendan can get the same verdict today.
The details of the last 3 years of SFA disciplinary decisions are on their website.
In that time,
Only Paul McGinn has breached the same Rule 72 and he got a 2 match immediate suspension.
His comments were after losing the 2021/ 22 league cup final to Celtic.
Last season Jim Goodwin breached Rule 73 and 77 and he got a reduced 3 match immediate suspension and a 2 match suspended suspension after appeal.
The Ayr Utd manager also got a 2 match suspension for breaching Rule 73.
