Afternoon All

Just watched and listened to BR media conference.

CalMac a doubt for Sunday's game due to Achilles issue and is being monitored.

Some fans have been calling for CalMac to be dropped from starting 11.

You may now inadvertently get your wish.

Sometimes what you wish for is not in the overall best interests of team.

I for one very much hope he recovers and is in starting 11.

Brendan also said that Hatate should be back training with the squad before the International break which is after the St. Johnstone match in a fortnight.
But
He reckons Hatate won’t be available to play until after the International break.

Our 1st match after the International break is away to Livingston and I wouldn’t expect Hatate to be risked on the plastic pitch.
Unfortunately that’s our only fixture before we visit Ibrox in April 7th.

I expect Hatate to be available for Ibrox but we will need to wait and see if he’s fit enough to play 60 minutes or 30 minutes.

{Ed007's Note - Baby Lawwell has resigned apparently, Buzz.}

Think AV said a couple of times "Change is in the air".

Was today's resignation and other internal issues perhaps 1 of reasons BR did not take today's training session.

Despite his form McGreggor missing at Swinecastle is a blow.

Even off form he understands the assignment at Celtic evidenced by his two best performances being against the Klan this season.

It’s the same with the Greg Taylor detractors it’s not until the well runs dry that the water is missed.

Taylor had a fantastic game against Dundee had a cracker of a cross for O’Rileys goal and played a one two in the box with McGegor for his goal plus scored and was still getting singled out as the man needing improved upon for Europe!

That applies to every position in the team.

He wears his heart on his sleeve and leaves it all on the park.

It says it all that it’s easier to cover McGregor’s absence in midfield than Taylor at left back he’s seen off a few pretenders to his throne the latest being the £3.5m Bernebei.

Think the wishes of a reshuffle of the footballing department will come to fruition? I’m thinking they’re going to do the usual pish n get some apparent genius scout in.

If Mark Lawell leaves through the parent and child gate I’ll maybe start to believe that real change is in the air otherwise I’ll be sensing papering over the cracks and it will still be Dermot Desmond’s head I’m looking for on a plate. No offence to John the Baptist.

I said on forum and podcast don’t rule out them throwing Mark Lawell under a bus or Rodgers to save their own arse.

My Daughter just told me Ed.
The rumour from a couple of weeks ago was correct.

A few of us have be very critical of Mark but maybe we have a bigger problem because it seems to be, he was only allowed to look in a below average market.

It's still the right move for both Mark and Celtic.

{Ed007's Note - Hopefully it's the start of the rumoured clear-out, Buzz - we might even get a proper DOF in!}

Hopefully, Lawwell's dad is next to go.

I agree 100% with your reply to my earlier post.

Also to others regarding wanting CalMac dropped. Be careful what you wish for.

Exactly he knows the scottish game inside out and is a major blow if he misses out.
