The only thing missing from Our team is confidence. as many people mentioned before were going sideways, backwards ect its always the easy and safe option because a feel they are scared to make a mistake for that killer pass, once it comes back, hopefully soon we will be a different animal. HH.

I'd like to see the centres backs taken a few shots. Teams always stand off them waiting for the next pass. Take a few goes from 25 yards will get them thinking.

The side to side back to back to side to back was our game under lennon. new manager. lennon . big ange changed it had us mixing our game now we've reverted back under the new manager.

Troy colour, No surprise that our Celtic team is lacking in confidence. For every neutral or positive post on Celtic Forums and social media we probably have8 negative . Our fans seem to want to ridicule or find fault with Board, manager and many players .
If players can’t look to their supporters to encourage and build confidence in team, then there is a problem.

The opposition clearly knows they don't intend to so can hold a tighter line further back making the pass margins higher error risk.

I have said before, there is not a player in the country who gets more opportunities to have a shot on goal than Scales. It's embarrassing the chances he gets then he looks left and right and makes a negative pass.
On another subject, before he went off, the most composed defender we had against hibs was Welsh. Scales was all over the place and when Rocky came on, he didn't give me confidence.
For whatever reason we cannot defend set pieces and that is what all teams play for when playing us, or they hit us on the break as our defenders are not quick enough.
Without Hatate, Iwata, CCV and GT we are very weak at the back and middle.
AJ has not been at his best this year but AR has shown heart and desire and will give 100% when asked upon.
There is something lacking at the moment, is it belief or confidence.
Today is a huge game for us in respect of gaining some momentum.

I think the most important part of shooting from outside the box when there is a packed defence is getting the shot away quickly . Maybe we should be able to create situation where a pass can be made to player’s striking foot, so that player doesn’t have to take a touch or two . Taking the touches means that the shot is either charged down or flies off target.
