ED007 you've noted in the past that you don't think Lawwell has any direct affect on internal affairs. Do you still think that's the case or do you feel like a lot of us that his impact on signings and club affairs still runs deeper than his title perceives?

Do you think we will make many signings this window? In all honesty 3/ 4 quality additions will probably be perfect. We’ve spent a load on projects who I think will come good.
{Ed007's Note - I think there will definitely be 1 or 2 signings this month, the league is already in the bag so all we really need this month is another striker.}

I would have thought the manager would have wanted 3 or 4, but with the size of the current squad (including those already out on loan) and so many on longer term deals, we have left ourselves in a wee predicament. With players away on International duty we need cover for Kyogo but I keep seeing McKenna being touted and that's an area we have several options (when fit) , so what do you think ED?
{Ed007's Note - Maybe McKenna is coming in - if he does in January that is - with a view to Rodgers longer term plans, how many CBs will we have for the start of next season?

Some of us get fed up hearing he's to blame for everything. Like Ed I think he has no influence in who we are signing and I suspect our CEO and now BR has.
I think BR will have told Nicholson and baby L what he's looking for and will review names they provide.
This is a window we cannot get wrong but I cannot see more than 2 come in.
Ed, is it summer before we have to decide on bernardo?
I really like the look of this lad.

Every so often this season when we have nearly everyone available, I think we look to be a different class, but then just as I begin to relax, we seem to get a couple of injuries and once more we are struggling. I honestly think we can go from looking like champions elect, to a team with injuries that could lose to any team . We badly missed Hatate until 3/ 4 games before he came back from injury, we found a superb Bernardo, who not only plays well himself but has had a magnificent effect on MO’R and I think Bernardo has put a smile on Kyogo’s face and put him among goal again . The only positions that injuries would cause upset is goalkeeper, left back ( maybe Frame could look after it) and striker . Harte doesn’t get injured. I didn’t mention RB as I think Ralston could more than cover there .

I'm looking forward to watching Odin Holm and what he can offer. The lad has shown some nice touches and has a bit of dig in him. He'll probably have to bide his time or go out on loan until the end of the season for game time. If BR trims a bit of the squad this month and in the Summer then Holm would be ready to push on.

Stengo 1888 I hate finding fault with any Celtic player but I watched him carefully playing underaged International against Ireland . He played fine but at same time I wasn’t over impressed. To be honest, maybe he was held back by tactics but I thought he was a bit lazy and didn't push him self enough.
I wonder if I live long enough for Celtic fans to accept that PL since he returned to Celtic has had no input in our transfers in or out . We have highly paid people headed by CEO and Head of Recruitment paid to do that work and let us hope that they get it right both in this window in the summer. These are vital important as I think that we have the bones of a very good team now, and by holding on to our better players and adding quality to other positions we should be a team every other team fear.

Celtic Calling, I haven't seen much of him myself but what I've seen I'be been impressed. Somebody at Parkhead obviously sees potential in him otherwise we wouldn't know about him. Look at all the others we have signed over the years - players we have never heard of before - VVD, Wanyama etc. and how they turned out - there's clearly someone at PH who can spot potental - well in some cases lol.

Stengo buying young players especially foreign has to bit of a hit or miss . It’s very difficult taking the steps M O’R took from promising youngster to a very good young player . If any manager can do it, I think BR is the man . I like the way he gives them some game time, probably tells them the areas need work on and gives them time . Probably stupid to read much into International performance as I didn’t know what was expected of him .
I hope he comes good as maybe eventually we might have quite a few of the summers window doing a good job for us.
