Ed's correct picking a best Celtic 11 is just impossible I've tried dozens of times.
But if Jesus calls me home tomorrow the three players that I watched that left me with fantastic memories and when I watched them were on top of their game and in their respective positions were world class and still bring a smile to my face because it was a privilege and I was blessed to see them play were in order:
1. Henrik Larsson
2. Paul McStay
3. Danny McGrain.
PS: Boruc is the best goalkeeper I've watched at Celtic Park and Paul Elliot was the best centre half and before any fellow posters asks that includes the absolute legend wee knew as Ceaser who lifted the ultimate footballing prize that other club. died trying to win and VVD.

PS2: I thought about Dalgleish at no. 3 but while undoubtedly a fantastic player I could never take to him as a person which might have affected my judgement.

McLair was at school with me amazing to think he was Celtic’s top goal scorer four years running and Mr Ferguson said he was the best value pound for pound player he ever bought for Man Utd.

Loved big AITKEN a thot he was sh##te (joke) but a total die hard same as Grant. I agree with Sean, Nicholas Pre arsenal and a thot Mclair goes under radar a lot, a think he scored about 40odd goals 1 season (Buzz) .

Your right Troy,
I knew his best season was in 1986/ 87 when the Southsiders won their first title in 9 years.
I had a look and McClair scored 41 goals in all competitions that season, including 35 league goals.
Fergie signed him for Man Utd that summer and he was their first player to score 20 league goals since the 1960s.
McClair presented me with my first 2 medals when I was a youngster.
