It’s not about Anges team, it’s about not strengthening it that the issue. We brought not a single player who can hold down a place in a team that needed improved. It’s our boards attitude to progress that boils my piss and this goes back decades. As long as we are run by feckin risk averse cowards we will never progress. Does spending money affect the Tory fat cats dividends? That seems to be the issue. And I woukd like to know how much these useless leaching barstewards are taking out the rigged system of shares. After Brendan left in 2019,
Celtic played in 23 away games in Europe and we scored in 21 of those games.
The only exceptions was when Lennon played a weakened side against Cluj and Ange also played a weakened team against Bodo Glimt.
Brendan has now also played 23 away matches in Europe as our manager and Celtic have failed to score in 10 of those games.

Mally, why bring up ange? The question had nothing at all to do with him . he's not our manager and so we, ll never know how his teams would have handled this campaign, so to say they'd get pumped is stupid. . also I don't give a fuck about his spurs teams performances and if they gey pumped every week I couldn't care less.

Yes, it is disappointing when it happens to us but if it can happen to the top tier teams, in terms of resources, it can easily happen to us.

It's an admirable idea to try and out play the athleticos . but Until he gets quality in every position he has got to stop playing / setting up like its an spl fixture . there's a level in European football we could go gung ho at and this isn't it .

The referee signalled that was the 2nd time that Palma had complained and that’s why he booked him.
His first complaint was at the start of the match, when Palma won Celtic a corner but the referee got conned by the defender with the oldest trick in the book.
The defender pretended to walk away for the goal kick.
The Atletico players were testing the referee, with the first decision of the match.
They knew from that 1st decision, they would get away with their unsporting behaviour, we have all seen for years under the watch of Simeone.
I knew from that 1st minute the referee wasn’t strong enough and his VAR assistant was also very poor.
