Been banging the drum for Mikey for ages and accept this was only a decent 45 mins after a few half decent cameos, but there is a player there. He has pace and ability and is slowly beginning to realise he doesn't always have to beat 2 or 3 men everytime he gets the ball. Stays fit he is ahead of Yang all day long. Kyogo badly misses Hatate and pace/ movement of Abada and Maeda. We were shocking in 1st half and need to get defending at corners sorted out. Get Taylor to f3ck away from Hart and get one of our big guys at the front post as lowish balls into that area and causing chaos.

Maedas energy workrate is sorely missed . i was surprised to read he also has a better goalscoring percentage than hatate whose energy and workrate is also missed . Will mikey take his chance or just flatter to deceive again. with no europe we could afford to rest calmac he's been leading the team since broony left sometimes with little help around him . physically and mentally this must be a big burden it would also let us see if iwate . holm are up to the task. like a lot of fans I'd like to see vata and others given a chance if not close the academy it woukd save millions and let our recruitment team keep buying foreign prospects . who are prospects only in the buy cheap hope for the best strategy of our financiers.

Mikey has got talent and there is a sense of urgency about him. If Brendan can coach him to make best use of his talents he would be really good for us. Today was the best I recall seeing him play. Up until today we have been frustrated by him overdoing possession and some wild shooting. I really hope he can be consistently effective and I believe he has Celtic in his heart.

Been in hopeful for mikey and just feel he is good enough. Just needs to stay fit.
Turnbull is another that is just not fitting. Be great if it worked out.
