As a starting point yeah additions not many needed and with regards to Europe we’ll need a couple of changes to that team and maybe formation too but a good starting point I believe. In regards to FF my take is all parties are happy to deal just to get the right deal possibly?

{Ed007's Note - Throw in Elhamed (if he can stay fit) Ntcham, Forrest, Elyounoussi, Soro, Henderson, Mikey Johnston, young Dembele and Klimala and we have plenty of options without adding any new players.
I say it every window, we need be looking to add quality over quantity, we've got plenty of players and there needs to be a point where youngsters step up or leave on loan to see how they progress.}

IF and it's a big if we can keep El Hamed fit he will be a huge asset this season. When he's played he's always been solid as a rock. A back 3 of him Julian and Ajer would do for me.

I know Lennon likes the 3 5 2 but if we play that I feel we need stronger options at rwb do we have any1 in the reserves to play there? And would you guys stick with the 3 5 2 or maybe go back to the 4 2 3 1 and who would u play?

Only asking because I don't think frimpong is a rb and would rather play a natural defender there even if they are young if they are good enough play them.

I think this squad is pretty versatile Frank and have proved many times over the last 2 or 3 seasons that they can change things around during games and they all seem comfortable doing it.
Always thought Johnny Hayes was a handy player to have when needing to change things, strange we let him go.

Frimpong has bags of potential, the lad is young he can't be written off, a player with that pace in the SPL needs to be used and his confidence will keep growing.
Our squad is in a good state, loads if options, ed is right the youngsters need used as they are the future, Welsh can be brought on in games to cover CB, we have Bitton who has done well there to.
Church is good enough to cover LWB, and I think again this lad could have a great future. I like the lads going out on loan, but sometimes the clubs they go to do them no favours, if the team you train and play with are rubbish then that just slows your progress.
Karamoko and Henderson can be used more this season, hopefully soro and klimala add a contribution to the team.
I think a goalkeeper who will be here for the next 5 seasons is what we need, not a gamble, or an overhyped hasbeen, FF would get the nod from me if he wanted to come, however I think there is plenty decent goalkeepers about, and I think we should spend well in this area, maybe a solid CB with good experience as well to add strength and depth and I'd be happy with watching this squad absolutely smash the 10IAR.
I would love to see the young lads blooded in and what a start to their celtic careers if they can help the team achieve this next title.

im thinking big fraser has herd of interest else were and his agent is sounding things out for him and he is looking at his option and he is leaving celtic to fall back on if he does no feel the other deals are right for him I could be wrong but just what I think.

Happy enough with the new fixture list.
There is a full Friday night fixture list for the 1st October but yet the play offs for Europe are that midweek. Sevco could possibly be playing the night before.
Scotland don’t play until the 10th October.
Celtic visit Ibrox on January 2nd and it will mark the 50th Anniversary of the Ibrox disaster.
Celtic also went there on the 40th Anniversary and came away with a 2-0 victory thanks to 2 Samaras goals.

50 years Ibrox Disaster. I was at that game and in the Rangers end. Uncle was a journalist who got 2 tickets and ended up with the tickets being spare. He was a Rangers fan. I was 14 at the time and came down that staircase 10 minutes before the end. I was well "briefed" by my dad what not to do if either team scored. Never and will never go back.
