It's satisfaction knowing that we are the underdogs going into this game as sevco have it won before the ball is kicked every Celtic hater wants us to be beat well it is so much hype of two players for sevco it's a joke lennon knows this and will be ready to use his vast skills to make sure they are in a game slippy won't sleep after this nightmare on Sunday I watched Aberdeen run right through them and they were looking for every thing they could get of the ref our team have shown what it takes to win trophies and play to thensure final whistle does slippy team unanswered because the stadium is empty when they get pumped the loyal fans run away and drag the knuckles and moan so it's going to be good but Celtic are playing very quick and don't give in the confidence is very high so I know the cup coming to paradise where it's belongs so the sun and the daily record and all you Celtic haters this is our era hail hail.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

06 Dec 2019 18:03:44
Although the media will have us believe the pressure is the same for both teams. I believe there is more pressure on Sevco and I don’t think they will be able to handle it. The only way I can see us losing, is if they want it more than us. If we compete, our ability will be the difference between the teams.
Celtic went into the 2011 final as big favourites because we had just beaten them easily 3-0 in the league 4 weeks before but Rangers wanted it more than us, which was hard to take. I am expecting Sunday to have a different outcome.

Agree1 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 18:32:29
Agree, as long as we want it as much as then its ours. Broony will have them fired up and our best 11 is still way better than theirs. In golfing analogy we were scratch last year, they were 5, and oters 10+. We are still scratch, they are still 5, others are 18+. So the gap hasn't narrowe as we saw at Greyskull. 100% confident. HH.

Except we’re no underdogs we’re odds on to win it.

All in the one breath as well jinky, I’m knackered reading that.

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Dec 2019 10:08:06
Who said we’re the under dogs? Apart from in sevco land we’re the favourite and rightly so! We turn up and play how we can and we win it’s as simple as that!

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Dec 2019 13:20:33
That mob have rode their luck season and they think they are world beaters after win against a bang average Porto. It was the same hype about last old firm and we absolutely destroyed them in their own backyard last meeting.

We are far too strong a side for them and I'm confident we will run them off the park.

I see Rodgers has signed a new contract at Leicester, I guess that means he will be off in the summer.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

06 Dec 2019 16:33:51
He 100% played for that! What a kn08.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 16:55:10
He’s a fud.

Agree1 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 18:06:57
He was already on £7 million a year.
He will have a clause in his contract, that if certain clubs come in for him, Leicester will need to release him.

06 Dec 2019 18:08:12
Can you answer one question jfp1888 why did he leave and can you answer one more why did Martin oneil leave why did lennon leave and come back and Rodgers left why? You must know calling him that name so please your knowledge cheers then I can sleep better in my bed knowing we set records under his guidence as you know the answer.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 18:35:17
Jinky88, that's some "one question" 🤣.

Agree2 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 18:48:40
Jinky he left because could not wait to go back to the land of milk and honey! So much so that he walked out on the eve of an important game at tynecastle and tried to take the entire coaching staff with him! The life long Celtic man was quite happy to leave his boyhood club in the lurch smack bang in the middle of an unprecedented treble treble! He’s a rat and Leicester fans will find that out soon enough! Hope u sleep better now its been explained to you!

Agree3 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 19:58:01
I don't know how people don't get that the problem with Rodger IS NOT that he left.
It was HOW he left.
He left right in the middle of a season
He left on the eve of an important game
He tried to gut our club of it's full coaching staff.
He never even had the decency to speak to the 1st team player.

Players and managers come and go but most leave with more dignity than that.

Agree4 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 19:58:04
So the treble treble and the ivincibles and all the levels he took us too mentioned nothing about the players he made into fitter and stronger players rember lennon won with his team so I think you were graced with a good time as him as manager why can you put all the blame on him managers leave and it happens he was not very good the way he left but I respect what he done for our outlook and fitness he brought to the club and the way he kept going but everybody has to think he done well at celtic.

Agree2 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 20:40:16
How many pumpings did we take in Europe under the rat. I am not lennons biggest fan but we haven't been pumped once under lennon and I am now glad lennon took the job he has proved me wrong so many times this season already.

Agree3 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 21:03:16
Jinky mate, are you related to saint Brendan or something? You're fairly fighting his corner anyway. But the facts remain. No one can argue with his achievements, but the way he conducted himself when he left was appalling, and for that he'll never be held in the same regard as the greats. because he's nothing but a rat. A rat who won trophies, but a rat none the less. Good riddance.

06 Dec 2019 21:49:51
Again no one disputes his record or achievements.
But he soiled his legacy by the way he left.

What kind of man doesn't even take the time to say goodbye to the men who have fought tooth and nail for him to rebuild his reputation?
They deserved that much at least did they not jinky?

06 Dec 2019 22:55:38
At least we're not bitter 😂.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 22:59:40
Kev hits the nail on the head! Not the fact he left because we all accept that managers and players move on! But the way the rat went about leaving is unforgivable and will forever we remembered Over any trophies he won! I would gladly not see his face or hear him talk rubbish every again! Every word that comes out his mouth about our club was and always will be utter lies! Good riddance!

Agree3 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 23:27:01
guys i think jinky is on the sauce tonight.
any celtic supporter should never need to ask
why he was a RAT.
the only thing that man loves is himself and money.
the word loyalty is not in his vocabulary and we
are well rid.
jinky sober up wee man.
hail hail.

07 Dec 2019 09:30:50
That's your opinion danny and if you think that but record's were set and that's what matters moving on and be a fitter and stronger team now we are reaping the benifits as lennon learned a lot as he has proved the doubters wrong records set again so don't be so bitter enjoy being in green heaven and it's going to get better as we are competing in Europe managers don't crazy things but he has to live with it but we are a brilliant team that's what matters happy Xmas Danny have good green one.

Rodgers would sell his gran to make a buck.
Everytime I see his face I change my TV to the horror Chanel it's an easier watch. He ruined everything he did by the way he left us literally just walked out it's like he cheated on us. We where all on his roller coaster he jumped ship and nearly took all the gears with him.

After recruiting so well in the full back areas in the summer, its ironic that I think we could be quite vulnerable there on Sunday.
Take out moi and eddy and lenny has a lot of decisions to make.
Forster
Ajer bitton jullien hayes.

Frimpong brown McGregor Forrest

Christie

Morgan.

Forster

Frimpong jullien ajer hayes

Christie brown McGregor Forrest

Nitcham

Eddy.

If moi boli eddy are all fit, we have so many options.
Pick your team troops. i know it's hard not knowing who's fit.

06 Dec 2019 11:04:36
Why play a CB who has formed a fantastic partnership with the other CB at right back when we have at least 2 fully fit good right backs in the squad?

For me if all injured players make it then its

Forster
El hammed
Julian
Ajer
Taylor

Brown
McGregor
Christie

Forrest
Ely

Eddy

If they are injured then it

Forster
Bauer
Ajer
Julian
Hayes

Brown
McGregor
Christie

Forrest
Frimpong

Griffiths.

06 Dec 2019 12:15:50
Play our best players in their best positions and we won't be far away steph.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 12:25:42
For me kev I don't really fancy bauer. i don't think he has shown much tbh.
Frimpong I would rather on the big hampden pitch to be further up.
Ajer yes its not ideal, has played there and given motm performances before.
Under lennon bitton has never let us down and his range of passing over the top for frimpong and forrest into space could be crucial.
Taylor is cup tied and if griff was to start surely he would have started against Hamilton.
If all are fit the team picks its self.
Elhamd is the no1 rb.
Boli lb.
Moi left and eddy up top. 🙏🙏.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Apparently Hayes, Elyounoussi, Bolingoli, Edouard and Bayo have all trained and passed fitness tests but Elhamed didn't.}

06 Dec 2019 12:31:06
Cheers ed.
That changes to picture.
Give us your 11 ed with what we know now.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - The only ones I'm not sure of is the fullbacks. I like Hayes and he's proven this year he's more than capable of playing LB so the physical side of derby games might suit him better and the same goes with Bauer/Frimpong at RB.
I expect us to be playing most the game in their half and considering what Tavernier said today - "we have to defend for our lives and give everything on Sunday" - they're going to try and park the bus so I'll go for the more attacking FBs to keep the pressure on them high up the park.

----------------------Forster-----------
-Frimpong-----Ajer----------Julien-----Bolingoli-

---------------Brown-----McGreogor----

-Forrest-----------Christie-------Elyounoussi-

--------------------Edouard-------

Their tactics will likely be to try and soak up our pressure and hit us on the break using Kent.}

06 Dec 2019 12:54:41
The temptation is to start with boli but he ain't played for a while so I think he might go for hayes.
As I said beuar am not to sure about so it has to frimpong.
If moi start then Christie moves in one and if eddy is fit then that's our best options up front.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 12:58:04
Hopefully they players are fit Ed. and if so the team picks itself. All players in their natural positions. 👍.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 13:48:52
I think he looks a good defender and put some lovely balls in to the box on Wednesday.
I ain't convinced about frimpong defensively. Bauer to me in a stronger defender and rangers left side is their most dangerous. That's why its bauer for me.
But no way should we be breaking up the julian and ajer partnership.
Especially when ajer is the more physical and it's going to be a battle with moreles in there.

Agree1 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 13:54:51
I think they will play with Kent and Barker on the wings and try and counter us the way they did in Porto. For me, Gerrard is so predictable and this is what he will go with.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 14:04:58
Agreed kev83
Bauer for me frimpong not there yet but the passing ability of Bauer is being over looked on here and he is physical maybe overly sometimes.
There is games in the future for frimpong maybe less attack more defence but suppose Lenny is saying that's what he want but defence should be first priority. How many crosses mostly perfect did he put in against Hamilton. but our lads need to get in in that.
Our second choices are not to bad. Agreed also they will be looking for our scrapes and trying the counter attack. If we go at them and get early goals but strong at the back as they have players who can make a difference.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 14:16:50
That's the team I want for Sunday (Ed's pick) The only danger would be Kent and morelos but both won't handle the pressure.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 17:49:53
Don't think The rangers will sit back and park the bus, think they will try to fly out of the stalls, and catch us cold, this game will not be won just because one team has the better players, it will be won by the team with the better attitude and the better tactics, let that team be Celtic.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 17:56:03
Its a nice problem to have when we have options on the flanks. I would prefer bauer to start cos I think they will use kent a lot as an out ball in the first 20 mins, I think bauer is a solid rb. Frimpong can come on with half an hour to go and compound their misery. Id probably say hayes for lb too to give us a bit of strength, they will be physical cos they know they'll get away with it. Im very confident going in to this one, more so than normal.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 18:26:31
With everyone fit the team picks itself which is the team Ed has said. I just can't see us losing on Sunday. They won't be able to cope with our pace 4-1 I reckon.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Dec 2019 07:57:15
I see Neil Lennon pointed out a poor decision for the Hamilton goal against us. The guy taking the throw in had his foot on the pitch which makes it a foul throw so do you think we will get an apology from the referee? Or will we get 2 days of back page headlines about the miscarriage of justice? I doubt that very much. Roll on Sunday hopefully for a good performance from the team I’d take a 1-0 win with the ball going in off the refs arse. but a wee H. U. N skelping would do just fine also 😂🍀 🏆.
