Welsh is usually reliable when he's called upon, although he rarely gets a run in the side. However, alongside Scales today they were bullied and stretched all over the place and looked very uncomfortable. The full backs were also caught out by long balls, by a 'basketball' size team, fielded to do exactly what they did and it was fortunate our forward play was so good to compensate for the lack of tackles in midfield and defensive weaknesses that were exploited. Bernardo was an empty jersey, although MOR and Tomoki were certainly not at their best either.
Most teams fancy their chances these days and because we are conceding, it means we have to score 3-4 goals a game and although we should have had plenty today, we need to tighten up asap.

If CalMac and/ or CCV are out for the remainder then we're going to seriously struggle in the remaining games.
Today showed how bad our defence can be against the worst team in the league, with £67M in the bank, the sale of Abada, the possible sale of Frimpong could net us £10M+ and if offers comes in, we'll sell MOR, by my estimates that couuld swell our bank balance to over £100M.
We could literally buy a new starting 11 and to be honest that's what I think we need to do, but no projects or punts, tried and tested professionals,
Our first team, let alone our first team squad, is not fit for purpose (I'm trying to be kind here) and the vast majority need to go.
This summer will make for interesting viewing.

Welsh is as slow as a week in the jail and should be nowhere near the team. He was woeful yesterday.
Another barrow loads of chances missed, a defence not worthy of the name snd the same dire to watch garbage we have endured all year. Some effin size of corner we are trying to turn. And I haven’t noticed anything that gives me hope we will.
Only real bright thing was maybe Khun, who at last looked like he could have turned a corner, let’s hope he drags the rest of the team with him. Another day of watching us and the same disappointment. Hart doesn’t make that stop with his foot snd we would have been out. Dire again from Rogers.
