Lewis Ferguson was voted midfielder of the year in Serie A this season by his fellow professionals! Some achievement for the young man! Previous award winners are players such as Danielle De Rossi, Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba, and Sandro Tonali. I'm happy for the young Scot and hopefully he makes a full recovery from a very bad injury.

Giakoumakis is getting £27k a week in the MLS.
I read he was only on a basic wage of £8k a week with Celtic.

Giakoumakis, I don’t think had any chance of getting £27 k a wk at Celtic for playing last 15/ 20mins . I don’t think he could get what he wanted in Europe or he wouldn’t have headed to MLS .
He seemed to be happy to sign for whatever Celtic was paying when he signed in Aug 21. Yet was desperate to leave before end of 22. I think he can’t have been happy with the amount of game time he was getting, which would reflect his wages.
