Sly saying all the refs in the top division have to declare the club they support before the season starts. imagine that up here ?.

Would never happen up here, as even if they admiited their allegiance there would only be 5% of the lot, eligible to do Sevco games.

Scotland are the only country in Europe where the refs don't have to admit there allegiance's.

I think naming the club they have allegiances to probably works in England, Ireland, and Europe as referees and VAR Officials are in these countries basically decent people . In Scotland our refs and VAR Officials are hand picked from a small area of Country noted for its number of Orange lodges and strength of Masons . These people bear allegiances to their own people and not the wider Community. To ask them to list their preferred Football club would be unlikely to receive an honest answer.
