If Southampton were to get relegated this season, do you think there is any chance we could get Foster back? Or is he now out of our price range?

Believable1 Unbelievable2

05 Mar 2018 21:36:22
Think that would give him away he’s been very poor and his passing/ kicking wouldn’t suit BRs passing.

Defo unfortunately the price tag and the wages maybe end up at some pishy low end epl side other than the one he's at.

Can’t wait till Sunday to shut this mob up.

Do they honestly think beating Ayr Utd, st Johnstone, Falkirk and Hamilton makes them world beaters 😂😂😂.
Think they forget that they have never beat us in the league and wee have only lost twice in 2 seasons.

I love their deluded fans though, always build their selfs up for a big fall☘️.

Guaranteed they will all be back under their rocks on Sunday night though.

Never rated foster tbh think there's better out there. I always thought Bain was decent whenever I saw him at Dundee. Would like to see him get a chance because DDV and Gordon don't fill me with confidence.

Agree0 Disagree1

06 Mar 2018 18:59:15
It will be a while yet until we see Bain in goals for Celtic . I am not too worried about De Vries or Gordon as Celtic haven't conceded a bag of goals domestically with either in goals. Certainly not enough to try someone new to club in front of the Ibrox scrum.

So just catching up with everything today and literally, 10 minutes ago, got a phone call from one of my ex bear pals, who is positively "delighted" over the draw, and "cannot wait to hump us twice"
When I stopped laughing I told him, that his team "cheering" at being drawn against us, is a SMALL TEAM mentelity. Like Boreham Wood drawing Manchester United in the cup.
I told my ex bear chum, it shows how far they really have plummeted when they are "happy" to get a big team like Celtic.

The over confidence coming from the dark side is laughable, who have they actually beaten? Last decent side they played was v Hibernian and they lost at home. Celtic play well on sunday and the result will take care of itself. Rogic and ntcham will be big players on sunday i hope they both start and people talk about our defence? rangers at the back are dire.

Some one please restore my sanity .

Did anyone just hear John "THE CELTIC FAN " on ssb?

Talking about watching the game yesterday, how "WE", played well, how good "OUR" attacking play was great 🙈

How bates was amazing for "US"?

How feckin sad they are actually phoning to try n get air time to pretend they support Celtic 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

This stuff happens all the time on snyde. Like posh mark from 'Giffnock' appears when sevco have a good result. Im sure snyde call these jokers. And don't mention Laurie from Dennistoun!

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 10:16:35
Laurie fae denistoun is one of the reasons a don't listen to it very often. Hink he wants a date with Hugh keevins, then the 2 of them can use big words to make them sound intelligent.

I was just talking about big Laurie ‘pontificate’ from Dennistoun with one of the boys in work! What a pile the big man talks by the way! I listen to Ssb for a giggle if I’m being honest! Some laugh so it is, to be sure! Did anyone catch Keevins saying last night, Celtic should be prepared for an onslaught on Sunday? i was pretty pishing myself 🤣🤣🤣.

My team for Sunday would be:

----------------DDV

Lustig---Simunovic Ajer----Tierney

------Brown Ntcham Armstrong

Forrest----------------------Sinclair

--------------Dembele

While I would have liked to include Edouard and leave out Lustig, I think it would be foolish to go with 3 at the back, especially if we are using an untested player.

So the choice I had was Lustig or Gamboa?

I would definitely play Sinclair and Armstrong as they both have great records against Rangers. I also have went 4 at the back so we are well covered on the wings, as that is where they will try to exploit.

I realise this is unlikely to be the team Rodgers goes with though.

05 Mar 2018 17:43:00
I’d have Edourde up beside Dembelle and Rogic instead of Stretch and would have Bain in goals because DDV to me is slightly better than nae keeper and gives me excessive bowel movements.

05 Mar 2018 17:50:49
Forgot Lustig was suspended, would swap for Gamboa or Ralston (if fit) then.

same team and shape as Zenit (suspensions and injury`s aside) starve them of the ball in front of the deluded.

05 Mar 2018 18:16:04
Can’t see it RAW. for a start big lustig can’t play, he’s banned mate. and I can’t see Armstrong getting threw in after all this time out. as much as I love Sinclair I just don’t think we can afford passengers on Sunday! And he’s been well off it lately! My team would be.
DDV
Ajer
Jozo
Compper
KT

Brown
Ntcham

Forrest
Rogic
McGregor

Dembele

Thought big Ajer was outstanding at RB when we beat hearts recently! And if not McGregor I’d got for big Edouard.

Agree1 Disagree1

05 Mar 2018 18:42:41
For me Edouard has to start and if it's at the expense of an out of form Sinclair then so be it. The lad deserves his place he should not have been dropped after the Hearts game. Him and Dembele will cause them all sorts of problems.

3-4-2-1

Bain

Hendry Ajer Compper

Forrest Brown Ntcham Tierney

Rogic Edouard

That would be my team for Sunday.

No matter what 11 we go with we will have an incredibly strong bench. Infact on any given weekend our bench would walk into the Zombie 11.

Agree3 Disagree2

05 Mar 2018 22:11:06
Isn't Armstrong still "injured" too? As well as Lustig being suspended. Last time we was over run in midfield and turned scrappy didn't allow us to play the way we like. Think similar tactics to Zenit (H) is the way for this game. Although can't see Kouassi getting the nod in the middle and Ntcham being put on the left.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 15:21:59
Got a feeling bhoys we will see the return of Craig “ honest mistake” Thompson on Sunday to help dig the Sevco back out their cesspit. think this season we have been abit disappointed but that’s only because of the invincibles season if it wasn’t for that this would be looked upon as a good season and still will be when we make history and lift our double treble. for me personally I think Armstrong’s form from last season has been a huge miss in our midfield this year.

When you look at the 'rogues gallery' including Thomson, Madden, Beaton, McLean, Clancy and baby Dallas; it's virtually impossible to avoid any biased establishment representative (or previous Ibrox season ticket holders) . As long as we turn up and play, there should be no cause for concern, in continuing our domestic dominance.

Bhoys in the last 18 games we have taken 38 points. In the last 19 games Rangers have taken 40 points so there is nothing between us on points. So when posters say that it only looks poor compared to how we did last season i can't see it. Right now we are no better than they are. We are having an average season. Rangers have improved a lot since Murty took over from Pedro. We need to start playing as we should. We have better players and we need to go out on Sunday and take 3 goals off them. We have the players to do that but we need to want it more than they do. Its upto BR to get it sorted.

Agree4 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 20:19:18
We have better players. Better manager, better record. All this title challenge and meltdown is some laugh, how many games have they lost in 80 odd games? I know it's only 2 for us. They're in for a treble of disappointments v Scotland's Number1.

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 21:04:02
Johnnymac. I never says we have been poor this season my point was after the success of last season ( a season that will live long in our memories till the day we die ) . if it wasn’t for last seasons successful then this would still be looke upon as a great season which it is and still will be just last seasons standards will probs never be reached again and if the invincibles never happened then this season would be looked upon a lot greater. hail hail bhoys. let the people sing l. double treble haha imagine that. even “super “ who almost got Everton relegated without his cheque book never achieved what Brendan Is on the cusp on. what happens if Moussa scores in the first 10 mins at ibrokes? . hmmmmm supposedly we are getting beat 5-0.hail hail x.

ok ed first post was wondering if there is a rule forbidding foreign referee`s, in today`s football foreign managers, players, coaches and agents are the norm even in everyday work yet this referee club still seems closed can you clarify.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed007's Note - There's no rules against it that I know of and it is something I think that should be brought in across the board with UEFA/FIFA delegating referees to domestic matches using a season by season league system.}

05 Mar 2018 17:09:38
that would bring clarity.

Agree0 Disagree1

06 Mar 2018 00:32:06
Now now, we can't have clarity as that would muddy the waters.

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 22:00:18
We can't have games refereed fairly in Scotland, too difficult a concept for our referees to take on board . Their entire training is based on refereeing biased enough to get away with it but at the same time helping Rangers
The secret five way agreement when Rangers was dead and before Rangers 2012 was created, was a secret four way agreement before the Rangers asked for the traditional referee bias to become more formal and be written down.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 11:44:31
Hi Ed, Surely Eduoard to start against Sevco? Thought we should have kept him in the side and went with the same formation after the Hearts performance. Link up play with Dembele and pace will cause them problems. Expecting BR to spring a surprise or 2 with his line up and formation at the weekend. I have read a few comments about Compper, not so much on here but elsewhere, yes he needs to get up to pace and that's expected after injury but i thought he looked very composed at the weekend and noticed he played the ball very well with both feet. He will be a very good addition.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - I'd start with Edouard too instead of Sinclair. Compper will probably start as well but I wouldn't hold my breath on him getting up to pace - pace is one thing he doesn't have!}

05 Mar 2018 12:29:31
Compper would be huge gamble. He looked composed nut was he really tested? Sevco are stronger coming down his side, tavernier n candy ass, so i would hope he will be benched. Be really interesting who BR puts out.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed007's Note - If he does play 3-4-2-1 and doesn't go with Compper will he move KT back and go with Ajer, Simunovic and KT?}

05 Mar 2018 12:35:13
Ed007, I couldn’t believe how slow he looked. I thought because he was coming back from injury he might have been pacing himself. If that was him in full pelt then he is slower than Daniel Majstorovic if that’s possible!

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed007's Note - If you ask anyone that regularly watched him in Germany they all say the same thing about his lack of pace which he tries to counter with his reading of the game. Obviously being out injured will have taken it's toll but I don't expect to see any vast improvement in his pace when he's fully fit.}

05 Mar 2018 12:48:24
Maybe BR will use him left CB when up to full fitness. Depends on how well others do i suppose. If that is him at full pace i would not like to see a 4 man defence with him LB Lustig RB.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed007's Note - He'll be fine at LB against other teams in Scotland if KT needs rested.}

05 Mar 2018 12:54:50
The break did KT the world of good he looks more like his old self. Wouldn't be surprised is he scored a screamer at the Bigotdome.

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed007's Note - KT and Brown getting our 3rd and 4th goals :-D

05 Mar 2018 12:58:46
The only thing that would top that Ed would be Paul McStay getting a 5 min cameo at the end.

Agree3 Disagree1

{Ed007's Note - And he'd still be the best player on the park.}

05 Mar 2018 16:32:28
Mcstay would win player of the year even just playing 5 minutes.

Agree2 Disagree6

05 Mar 2018 22:30:17
Compper like a lot of good centre halves probably relies on his positioning sense rather than pace . I personally prefer positioning sense .

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Mar 2018 22:07:33
There is very little gamble, no matter who Brendan Rodgers plays in defence .
We are not playing Hibs or Aberdeen but a 5/ 6 year old club without a proper manager and no credit line
Rangers are not a good team and now that we are coming out of a very busy playing period and getting injured players back we have much to much for Rangers.

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2018 11:43:50
Been reading ever message about next week's game. There is a clear over confidence coming out. Rangers got something to prove and yes they crash at ipox. I just get feeling it's going be a score draw 2-2 with them scoring first us fighting back. Am not going gamble but I think Cummings might make a difference to them? Blood and thunder and a few dodgy decisions.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

05 Mar 2018 12:12:58

Cummings has scored one goal in the top flight in Scotland. One.

Chill out, he's championship level, nothing more.

That's Scottish championship by the way. Already failed down south.

Agree3 Disagree2

05 Mar 2018 22:37:46
Aye we shouldn't be worried about playing Rangers the only team in the SPL who have never beaten us over 90mins . We are now back playing the same number of games each week as the other SPL teams. As every week go past our lengthy injury lists shortens and we now have very good options for changing the game on the bench.

05 Mar 2018 11:37:12
So does anyone else think GM played a school boy error by revealing the sevco dressing room cheering when they were drawn against Celtic. .
Now if anyone needs put back in there place it's this lot.
Am sure all there misplaced confidence is music to BR ears.
Let's hope they fill this weeks papers full of there nonsense because come Monday they will be wanting another manager again.

They will come out and give it a go. But that being said it will only play into our hands as they're defensively weak and they'll leave themselves exposed. Which is more reason to me why Odsonne and Moussa should start together.
