Use our rumours form to send us celtic transfer rumours.

18 Dec 2019 23:12:42
What do we want from Santa 🎅 in the transfer window, for me I want FF and Mo signed up from Southampton on permanent deals, big Vic brought in on loan from Spurs, Turnbull signed following the summer setback, Berger Melling brought in at left back, Benkovic bought from Leicester and a poacher as unfortunately Griff doesn't look like coming back and Bayo is not the answer, is it too late to wish for John McGinn ☘️.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

18 Dec 2019 23:58:39
That Santa list would guarantee 10 In A Row.

Agree1 Disagree0

19 Dec 2019 01:41:46
Unfortunately that doesn't look like a typical Celtic January transfer window plan, if we go for Melling would it not be a pre-contract? Is he not in the last 6 months of his current contract? I also don't think Mo will sign full time and Benkovic i also think is a non starter. Don't see us getting big Vic and Turnbull not when Biton has signed a new deal, only see one of they deals happening if Ntcham goes but i think he's firmly in Lennys plans. If we got big Fraser signed up in January, maybe Melling on a pre-contract a CB to fill Jozos boots and a striker I'd be happy, but even at that i think it's wishful thinking.

Four left backs wee don’t need any more full backs yes to the rest though Leon.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Dec 2019 07:52:25
Think the melling signing is dead and buried.
Benkovic is as injury prone as big simi.
We have needed a poacher for years as Griffiths isn't a poacher.
Turnbull hasn't even kicked a ball it training yet so we should steer clear till we know he's fit again.

Brown needs some of the weight lifted of his shoulders however a fully functioning Hungary ntcham is allways welcomed it like a new player wee still need a defencesive mid though .

Has anyone been to the sensory room at Celtic park? My son is autistic and have been on the waiting list for a year and a half for a disabled season ticket. I got an email from Lori in the Celtic foundation who invited my son and I to the sensory room for this weekends game.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - I don't know much about it mate but you should definitely go for it. A guy I know from my schooldays took his daughter and according to his social media they both had a great time. I'm sure the wee man will LOVE it and let us know how it goes.}

Good performance tonight, but Christ almighty. Johnny Hayes is a disaster. Wee Taylor must be chokin in his lucozade if that’s what’s getting a game in front of him!

We should had at least 6 they have to start finishing hayes is not a lb he is a nightmare greg Taylor is a natural left back why is he playing him there Idon't understand this hayes should be second choice hearts were rotten need to take these chances park was a mess ref was a joke linesman was I can't say he never had clue but three points on a hard surface lenny play greg lb.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

18 Dec 2019 22:32:39
Linesman putting his flag up for offside from a backpass, he'll fit right in, can see him getting plenty more celtic games.

Agree1 Disagree0

18 Dec 2019 23:20:28
Should the goal have counted then I thought so because the hearts defender put him through?

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Dec 2019 06:00:34
Our finishing does look a bit sloppy generally. Really not sure why Hayes is getting the nod either. First half we looked second to everything but touches of class from Edouard and Christie to get the opener. That put them on the back foot and after that I was really impressed with some of the chances we created. Should have scored a few more. Hostile venue on a tricky surface against a side who were looking to get in our faces. A big 3 points.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Dec 2019 20:59:41
Personally getting a bit sick of Jullien rolling around screaming like he’s been shot when he’s hardly been touched. That’s 3 or 4 times I’ve seen him carry on like that. No time for it and especially don’t want it from Celtic players.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

18 Dec 2019 20:33:43
Johnny must get hooked at half time, worst display I've seen from a Celtic player in a long time.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

18 Dec 2019 20:41:16
Agree stevie! Like a rabbit in the headlights. his lack of quality is actually frightening!

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Dec 2019 20:50:10
Thank heavens I am not the only one to see this. I didn;t understand why Taylor was dropped, I did not see him do anything wrong. I know Ntcham has scored but he does not enjoy this type of battle would prefer Ryan in the middle. I also think Forrest would be better on the right.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Dec 2019 21:01:08
Ntcham has been class. His wee ball through for forrests sitter was a joy to watch.

Agree1 Disagree0

18 Dec 2019 21:45:40
Disagree Kev, Ntcham is always a worry for me in away games. We often lose the battle when he is in there. Better opposition would have killed us today. Great 3 points though.

Agree1 Disagree0

18 Dec 2019 22:01:21
I thought our 2 worst players before the opening goal was Hayes and Ntcham.
Hayes due to ability and Ntcham due to effort but they both ended up having decent enough games, especially in the 2nd half.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Dec 2019 22:30:45
If it means Christie being moved to accommodate ntcham then it’s a massive no for me! Christie is wasted out wide! Forrest should be right Christie in the middle with Elyounoussi or Johnston on the left, Elyannouusi obvious starter when fit! Ntcham is far to much of a luxury player IMO, picks and chooses when he wants to turn up! And don’t even get me started on Johnny Hayes by the way! The guy looks every inch an Aberdeen player with a Celtic Tap on! Unless boli or Taylor are injured then Hayes should be nowhere near the team! May sound harsh because he’s a decent guy but dear lord he’s pish!

New image uploaded to the
Celtic Player Sightings page entitled, This is why we should back the green brigade I get they can be controversial but the good out weighs the bad

Believable0 Unbelievable0

18 Dec 2019 22:40:55
Maybe if the Green Brigade stopped with the pyro and the banners that are dodgy for a season, then Celtic could donate the money they have been paying in fines to food banks of GBs choice, the food banks would be better off.

Agree1 Disagree0

20 Dec 2019 15:27:14
The green brigade weren't at fault for the fines for wrong bibs and stairwells blocked, if UEFA are going to do this across the board then fair enough but they don't.
I also feel Celtic should back our support especially when being fined for rightly calling out a fascist.
So that's £20 grand celtic cost themselves which could have been better used.
Plus if we're to believe that politics/ political belief has no place in football then all the poppy nonsense should be banned.
Kudos to the green brigade as that is an amazing total and I think the lads bring a lot of good to our club and communities.
Loved the Tory/ rod banner - I'm sure It upset the panty wetters but oh well 😂

18 Dec 2019 16:52:16
I know there have been plenty of posts about needing a striker (s) and how many surplus (or not good enough) players we could/ should move on if we get the chance?
Two other areas I am concerned about - but not in the immediate category - are Broony and Forster.
I for one, would not relish a return to Gordon/ Bain in goal considering the vast improvement defensively with Forster as the last line - and I know Julien and Ajer have done their fair share +.
Secondly, we missed a trick with McGinn as Broony's stunt double, but who else do you think could even try to emulate the captain? There were rumblings about big Vic and that would be tremendous, but the likelihood seems pie in the sky.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

18 Dec 2019 17:45:37
VW as broonys replacement is a no from me. Good player, MAY still do a job, to expensive long term. SB replacement should be someone long term, Scottish, loves club or will love the club. Christie can emulate SB Celtic career by moving back step by step as a midfield general.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Dec 2019 08:36:00
If Broony can stay fit for a season or so I reckon young Scott Robertson looks the part. He's Scottish, got a good dig in him and he looks as if he's no smiled for years. I'd get him weaned up.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Dec 2019 15:30:15
ED007 with your good contacts have you heard what the problem is with French Eddy, is it just rest he needs to clear up wee niggles or is it more serious and long term? Thanks in advance.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - It seems to be just wee niggling injuries, Tim.}

18 Dec 2019 16:39:08
Hopefully he lasts, further unscathed, up to the break and - like a few others that are not 100% - gets plenty rest and recuperation.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Dec 2019 17:49:04
I think it’s more important than ever that we get a striker in ASAP! Griff obviously can’t be trusted and bayo and Morgan are rank rotten! Morgan in particular I just do not know what the manager sees in this guy! Nothing personal at all with the lad but he just hasn’t got the quality to be at our club, never mind starting up front in such a crucial part of the season! U heard anything about getting a new striker in ED? I think is essential this happens if eddy keeps picking up these niggly injuries!

WARNING A sycophantic post from Timalloy

I just saw that ED007's Foodbank collection has raised over £1000 so can I just say all of the bhoys/ ghirls on here are amazing, I know that the cash raised will help a good few deserving people this Christmas, so all on here give yourselves a big pat on the back. hail hail
Also to ED007 himself, despite his well documented health issues he has selflessly put others first to help those more needy in his area. It takes a BIG BIG MAN to be that selfless ( is that sugary enough ED007 NOW can I get back those photos lol)
I also saw that "Albertz" from the sevco site had donated £100 so I went on there to thank him, I really played nice but all I got back was abuse, you just cannot be nice to sevvies, what I loved was the comments about "they paid no attention to my posts" but knew everything about my bets with the ex bears and all my other posts.
But bhoys/ ghirls be assured I SHOWERED first before coming back on here ha ha.

I would sooner keep Ntcham for 2-3 years than have big Vic back on loan.
if Olly wants to leave then fair play that makes sense, however I think he's a cracking player and would prefer our own players than loans.

Forster aside - he's been immense.

I like Rogic Kev but he certainly doesn’t give us much by way of return in terms of minutes. The question is does he do enough when he is available to warrant keeping? Unsure.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Dec 2019 13:38:27
What does he actually bring to the squad JFP?

His whole celtic career is built on smoke, mirrors and myths.

He hardly makes any assists and hardly scores any goals.
He has had one good 6 months in 7 years, scored a few bangers and I'd admit a few important ones but that's it.
Christie has now scored more goals before Xmas than rogic has ever scored in a season.
Add to that he's never fit and it's time to cut him loose.

Hi ED I just read your piece about the problems you have had and you have my sympathy.
My Sister was born disabled down her right side and has learning difficulties. Since 2010 she has had her day centres and activities cut right back owing to Tory austerity, she is an easy target for their meanness.
The sad thing about the election was that it wasn't just the traditional Tory voters who put them in but areas that have been decimated by their policies.
A lot of these areas might soon realise that Brexit doesn't solve their problems and wake up to who is really responsible for their falling living standards.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Sorry to hear about your sister mate, sadly I think it's too late now for England but hopefully Scotland and N.I have a chance to sort themselves out in the future. I wasn't happy with the Indy Ref outcome - like a lot of people I accepted it at the time - but the Brexit shambles has made it more relevant than ever, remember the Tories and Labour campaigned that the only way to remain in the EU was to vote No and now look at it and all because there is new EU rules coming in about billionaires hiding their money in off-shore tax havens.}

Hopefully Scotland gets another opportunity for another vote.
Boris is happy with a United Kingdom because England makes the decisions, but he is against being linked with Europe because England doesn't always have the final say. It goes back to when they had an empire and they think they should rule over everyone.
