Injury-free return is always my priority, especially when players like Eddy hadn't featured for us before these nuisance games.
I appreciate they want to represent their countries, but at the end of that day their club is the catalyst for any success, publicity and recognition, that gets them to that level.
Looking forward to a return to domestic form and Celtic priorities.

Celtic Mad, I don't agree re the club remarks for recognition and publicity, scoring 12 goals for France U21's in 7 games (some as sub) will have raised Eddy's profile more than scoring 12 goals would in what most people regard as a pub league.

100% agree lads. Would love to see him at Celtic. Would be an ideal replacement for brown when he goes. Mid field of McGregor, Turnbull and him would be quality and young.

His uncle Barry was asked a few months ago a program I watch (don't know if I'm allowed to mention it Ed) if Lewis would refuse to sign for Celtic because the family history and he said that the boy is very level headed and down to earth and his background or who his dad played for would never stop him playing for us.

Due to the amount Celtic have already spent in this transfer window, my feeling is we would be looking to recoup at least £20 million back in transfers.
I was hoping Celtic would sell Rogic for £4 million and get £5 million from any Dembele deal. That would leave the club only needing to sell one more valuable asset.
I would be happy enough for Ntcham to leave in this transfer window because Celtic have enough cover in the midfield.
Now it seems the Rogic deal has collapsed and I now worry Celtic will be looking to sell another top player to balance the books.

One of the English papers mentioned Southampton are still interested in Ntcham but for only £5 million.
Personally I would accept £8 million for a player who isn’t guaranteed a start.
I think Celtic have more chance of getting £15 to £20 million for Ajer.

Ntcham must be the most under appreciated player that has ever been at Celtic park, the guy is a top talent and any other manager would play him every week, he is easy worth in excess of 20 million but I hope he stays and we build the team around him.

A look back at previous posts, will show how much I wanted Ntcham to succeed at Celtic and establish himself (as we don't have a type of player like him at present) . However, he rarely takes the initiative to show what a player he could be with real consistency.
I appreciate he has been in and out the team, but maybe a change of manager and style would get more out of him? His first season, has never ever been replicated IMO.

Ntcham will go for £15m minimum. I like him but I think we've got players just as good in the squad so wouldn't mind him going if it meant holding onto Eddy until next summer.

We say this every 'window' and he did fantastic for us when he played; but Like FF, I reckon he sees his future in a 'big' league; although it hasn't quite worked out that way so far. However, I agree he would always be welcome.

I wouldn't want Ajer to leave personally but if he does go, albeit i would like to see ideally a left footed defender brought in as a replacement, there could be a bigger role than usual ir anticipated for Bitton. He has that same style as Ajer in terms of bringing the ball out from the back and attacking the space, what i will say about big Bitton is he brings a certain calmness and experience to us. Big man has been over the course.

I will be sorry to see Ajer go to as I thought he had taken the club to his heart - like Mikel Lustig did - and would be here for longer.
He has athleticism, stamina and passion, to compliment his talent; although I always saw him as a midfield player - not a centre-back.

I think he only ever played one half as a CDM in a preseason for us and looked decent that was his position at Start, albeit he did finish his last season there playing up front I believe. I think his style suits CB but he's constantly played out of position at LCB and no wonder he's looking for a move as he's probably worried it's stalling his progression.
