Growing up a few of us heard stories about the great 9 in a row glory days and now we are all living the dream for ourselves.
During the 9 in a row era Celtic played in 17 out of 18 cup finals. An amazing achievement
We won 5 Scottish cups and 5 league cups in this time and we won 2 trebles. Our biggest achievement under the master Jock Stein was winning the European Cup. Overall Celtic played in 2 European cup finals and 5 European Cup semi finals in the 9 in a row days.
As Celtic get closer to achieving another 9 in a row, there are similarities from the 60s and 70s. This current Celtic team have also won 5 league cups and are chasing our 5th Scottish cup also. We are chasing a historic Quadruple Treble which will never be matched in any lifetime. Another major achievement from the majority of this squad was the Invincible season of 2017 when Celtic went the full domestic season undefeated.38 league games and the Treble to finish off a season unlikely to be matched in our lifetime. That season also had similarities to when the Lisbon lions won every competition we entered including the Big Cup in 1967.
Celtic are currently 34 domestic cup games undefeated stretching back 4 years.
I think it would be fitting tribute to this amazing group of players if they could get to 38 cup games undefeated and to put that statistic alongside the Invincibles 38 games undefeated in the league. Now that would be amazing.
If these True Professional Celtic Players can achieve the Holy Grail of 10 In A Row then no one could argue they would be on a par with the Lisbon Lions in the history of Celtic Football Club.

Also, the Development squad went unbeaten either that season or the season before. A lot going right behind the scenes at Parkhead in terms of structure with more hugely talented youngsters coming through the pipeline.

That's the most ludicrous thing I have read, even if this team/ teams go onto 14 in a row, without doing something noteworthy in Europe, they will never compare to the Lisbon Lions. That team was the best in Europe.

Aindoh, I have read more than a few ludicrous comments from yourself.
Better to send Brown out on loan and build a team around Kouassi and Bayo and the fact you don’t rate Forster as a goalkeeper.
I will be telling my grandchildren about this team who could potentially win a quadruple treble.
