Dc7 completely agree, does this mean Murray goes down the pecking order if it goes through? I’d rather see where Murray or the young lad Donovan get some game time over this boy. Only way I’d be happy at a CB coming in is if he was better than what we already have.

I totally agree regarding developing our own youth as opposed to nurturing another clubs kids, also don't think a club of Celtic stature should be anywhere near a 38 year old Jamie Vardy.

We should only ever loan younger players if there is an option to buy, otherwise I agree we should develop our own.

I don't like this either. Doesn't even begin to address our situation. I thought young Murray looked good. I would rather play him. We still need someone better than CCV.

There is nothing to suggest Man City centre half isn’t coming in on loan to put pressure on Murray and CB Scales / Trusty to improve or drop out of the reckoning altogether.
I cannot understand if the Man City cb is going to strengthen the squad, that all of us who want our team to be better, don’t welcome him, we would prefer if he was bought but a loan deal is better than no deal.
