Suspended betting on the new Celtic manager, with Nancy being the front runner.

If he is our new manager, it is a big gamble and he is coming into a divided club, which will make things hard for the new manager.

Don't know much about him, wouldn't be on my list but what do I know? Whoever it is to be will support. Underwhelmed if its him hope he proves me wrong.

Meant to say that is with coral.

It's not rocket science, all he's got to do is win games and while the club is divided, if he's winning games and the board back him in January that divide will lessen. Yes it'll cover up the cracks, but the Celtic board have been doing that for years.

Green Brigade and other protesters need to just stop. They're embarrassing, yes it's a club with supporters, however they can run it how they see. All the protests are doing is affecting the players on the park. The minute that ceased we started winning games.

Never heard the phrase "bad things happen when good people do nothing"? Over 400 hundred supporters associations isn't a few whiny fans! You may be happy with the status quo, the majority want better.

I know about as much or as little, as the next punter regards Wilified Nancy.

But IF he were deemed the man to take the reins and he can get the team playing the 'Celtic Way" winning and progressive football, then he'll be supported.

Very few knew about Ange when he walked through the door.

I'm already fed up with the toxicity… if we do make a project of the managers job whilst chasing a league this year, this would be unforgivable.

I'm struggling to go to games recently at home due to the horrible atmosphere. MON to his credit his lifted the players…. Most of them seemed to be struggling with all the toxic energy surrounding the 90 minutes.

If ever we needed an experienced manager it's now. Are we seriously considering a guy with no credible experience? I hope not and don't think we are.

But my fear is when you look at the poor choices we have made over the years as a club, it's a worry. We have a mess of a Rangers team close to us who have had no money for 10 years and sacked their last manager for shocking performance this season. We should be out of sight.

I spoke to some Mityland supporters at last week's game who couldn't understand how bad we were, given the size of our support and money from CL recently. They have a small stadium with 13000 capacity and only 8000 season tickets. Formed in 1999!

The difference is they are a well run young club and we are wholly dysfunctional. Interestingly, they told me the are also controlled by one major investor, but unlike DD he knows how to run a football business.

So I can't rule out anything with our club, but if we don't appoint an experienced manager, my prediction is that things will spiral downwards quickly. It would be unfair on him and the players. And not least the supporters.

My preference is to win this season and for the majority of the board to be "replaced" and a properly structured football operation put in place.

In my view for this to happen we need to appoint an experienced manager and bin the toxic stuff during the 90 minutes. Failure to do both of these will gift the league to others.

The toxicity is not going to end as there is a fight between Desmond and the board and a significant section of our fans.

While the board may be able to swing some of those dissenting voices, this is not going away until they listen and act.

Hope you are wrong Joe or we are gifting the league away….

It's not a certainty we would win without the toxicity…. But a certainty we will lose it if this continues.

Also, if it continues I will bow out of going.

{Ed007's Note - The demonstrations and actions against the board & the running of the Club will continue and will hopefully be escalated in the coming weeks & months.
The Celtic Fans Collective have a meeting planned for the 25th of this months.}
