You can see there is a section of our fan base that want the new manager to fail just so they can have a go at the board. They do the same thing with players. Call them $hire after every performance just so they can blame Lawwell for absolutely everything. It's embarassing at this point.

Ken some of what u say makes sense as that side of fanbase don't recognise anything done good by someone like lawell or board and seem to get a buzz out of ongoing rebellion, but com on, no one wants us to lose/ fail in any way shape or form.

A couple of weeks ago in amongst the hysteria I cautioned that Celtic had not yet turned a corner. i based my view on being awful v St Mirren and the absolute humping in Denmark.
In my view we have too many SPFL level players on the pitch and in the squad. The top quality players we have are injured.
The manager has been appointed and only time will tell us if he has the tactical nouse required or if he has indeed lost the dressing room.
Where I have major concerns is that this board clearly did not want to purchase the quality BR wanted to push the team on. Now we could argue that they wanted him out the door and that's why the finance was held back.
Rodgers has now gone so that excuse has now gone with him.
I genuinely can't see us going for proven quality and that's why we will continue with low level punts. if Nancy puts up with that it will show us that he is the yes man that the board wanted all along.

To say it don't matter to win or lose but the performance on the pitch, he won't last long with that outlook. I'd rather have ugly 1 nils than this rubbish show right now.

Instead of backing the man you're instantly attacking him. The players could've seen that game off in the first 20 minutes but never did.
It's the same across the internet. Every new player that's came in has been written off as not good enough already. It's embarassing the way folk are going on. I'm not just talking about on here but all over social media.

It's some turnaround in fans opinions since August, when we lost to Kairat and I put it on the manager & players I was told it was the board's fault for not backing Rodgers and spending money- bad board!
Fast forward a bit and MON has taken the same players to joint top of the league with the chance to go clear, we beat TRIFC to reach a cup final and had a cracking away win in Europe, well done Martin, great job, thanks to the manager.
Now we have a new manager who came in and tore up a winning formula, we were abysmal in his first game losing to Hearts and falling behind them in the league but that's not the manager's fault, that's on the players....
Who's fault will it be when Roma pump us on Thursday? The team sitting 4th in Serie A is the highest level of opposition Nancy will have EVER faced and the chances of him outsmarting Gasperini are absolute zero.
Who will we be blaming on Friday morning, will it be back to the board for not spending money in the summer, maybe the players for not turning up or are there any other contenders? We could just decide on a game by game basis going forward, if we win it's down to the manager and if we lose it's the board or players fault seems the best bet to keep folk happy (clapping).}

He's been in the door for a game so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
I don't doubt the tactics and selection of Martin and I'd have loved for him to stay on but that's not where we are right now. Unfortunately the control of who the club employs is not mine.
All I am saying is I'm not going to completely write a guy off after 1 game in charge.

The same folk that are calling for Martin to stay were greetin when the club appointed him?
Folk write players off after 2 bad games.
Write managers off after 1 game in charge.
I'll give him a few weeks then take my opinion. I hope he's won every game and the club are in a better position when that time comes.
{Ed007's Note - I wrote him off even before he came in but I still expect him to win a treble, any manager Celtic appoint in these times should at least be capable of that. Is he the man - or manager - to take us forward as a Club is the big question and I simply don't think he is, he'll be coaching Tisdale's signings for a start and going by his record that'll be more hit or miss punts, Nancy has never coached in Europe let alone played or coached in any UEFA competition but folk think/hope he's going to take us to that next level?
Why? Ange came in with a provable track record so the comparisons with him are just ludicrous and folk looking for anything positive to spin.
