Facts -our league winning team should be good enough to get us into cl, the players brought in are squad necessities, appropriate money will be spent as it was last summer, trust process.
1.) 10 Jul 2025 09:47:08
When you take Jota, Khun and possibly CCV out of that team which also had Kyogo for half a season, I think we need to add quality.
2.) 10 Jul 2025 11:40:47
Why CCV, only the SMSM seem to think he is gong anywhere and our Manager says he will be back in a fortnight. His operation was planned to take place at a time to give him ample training time before new season . Kuhn had taken his ability out of the team since Christmas, so we hardly count him as a loss.
Mentioning Kuhn it is noteworthy that unlike when other first team members move on, neither Manager nor team mates commented and wished him luck.
3.) 10 Jul 2025 11:55:51
Khun hasn't left yet.
4.) 10 Jul 2025 12:01:29
Nothing to do with him leaving, as I never read our septic media spec, just a question about his fitness as I wasn't sure how long he would be out?
5.) 10 Jul 2025 14:09:00
Celtic_mad I question his fitness as well. Not just this injury but if memory services me correct (and I may have written about this before) he misses quite a few big European games for us every year.
6.) 11 Jul 2025 12:52:47
I Hear 2 McStay, I think, u are possibly mistaking yourself for me who posted extensively about the number of games CCV has missed especially European games which I think are all of same magnitude.
Surely the planned operation that CCV had at start of close season was timed to first of all cure the cause of his previous injuries that prevented him from playing so many games and also have him fully recovered from post operation effects and ready to play from start of season.

Did anyone see the news about oh and feyenoord interest, seems the players we get a sell or move on are consistently bettering themselves, it’s class to know we doing things correctly, regardless of where abouts in there development we sit,
We’re definitely choosing some correct players.
1.) 25 Jun 2025 20:06:40
I always felt Oh would come good, he really wanted to achieve success with us, but we could not afford to give him the playing time he seemed to need.
2.) 25 Jun 2025 20:56:27
OH doesn’t get much game time in Belgium either but he still has an impressive goal per minute ratio.
3.) 26 Jun 2025 12:34:56
Felt he could have made it at Celtic if given time and opportunity. However, with the pressure to win every game and the demand for success, it makes it very difficult to do this unless the player has exceptional talent and is better than what we have 'immediately'.

Would be great if we announced a record signing tomorrow for rubbishs n giggles.
1.) 05 Jun 2025 18:09:29
Raman's face tripping him at his favourite team's new appointment lol ?.
2.) 05 Jun 2025 18:35:54
Noel coming up to autograph "Definitely Maybe" LP?
30 May 2025 23:50:34
Are we all ready for 6-8 weeks of headlines dismissing our rampant all conquering self made achievements over last 20 years and that our relevance is diminished cos the mighty new co who cheated there way to insolvency have new investment in there hate filled dreams of being scotlands no.1.
1.) 31 May 2025 00:53:10
I don't know what this means but I'm in.
2.) 31 May 2025 06:52:55
Sorry Gerry, I meant to write are we ready for 6-8 weeks of the “rangers are coming bandwagon”, got carried away.
3.) 01 Jun 2025 14:33:33
The Sevco49ers are coming but they admit themselves that they are going to be limited .
One of the Americans who has put some money into what he described Sevco as an “extraordinary” club . Why does he call Sevco ‘extraordinary”, surely he doesn’t believe Sevco came out of liquidation the right way .
That would be truly extraordinary.

We got played like a fiddle, they parked bus and we went flat, we definitely better team, but no one can say they didn’t deserve that, own goal each, (wtf was kasper thinking) and when went to pens it was a lesson in wanting to score and needing to score, our two missed pens where worse than poor, but that’s where it ends, trebles are hard to win, well done Aberdeen, we see where improvements are needed and I’m excited for what we will see next weeks and months,
03 Jul 2025 19:00:04
I’m not sure this is instability, looks increasingly like there was more to poor end to season (downed tools when stock high after we put him, of course so did he in the spotlight) than we first thought, went
Missing in old firms after new year skelp, and Celtic allowing him to go shows exactly where we are as a club some fans need to get used to it and see the positives in our club even if it’s a stepping stone a successful place for growth, it’s not a step up so I’m assuming he just wants away, and big swede looks every bit the player and is fit ready to go, let’s trust our manager and club they’ve not given us a reason not too.
22 Jun 2025 15:46:18
Shame, wonder what circumstances behind us not getting him are,
06 May 2025 20:44:01
At the very least we should have a full time Asian football expert keeping tabs on players for us, thing is I think players that done well for us where ange specific picks and obv a few never worked that perhaps where scouted, thing is also the cats out the bag with Japanese players littered across top leagues, Shame if we don’t continue with trying to find more maedas, as we’ve proven or the current players have proven Celtic to be a good destination for them.
02 Feb 2025 13:28:03
I’ve really criticised the club several of last few windows, with hindsight I was wrong, so il reserve judgement, kyogo didn’t want to play for us, we sell our club as an opportunity that means when they want to go if a price is met they get to go, we don’t need a striker right now idah will score as will meada as cf ( his true position) , Forrest injured and palma gone we are weaker out wide even with jota, we also need a lb, let’s see what happens before end window.
{Ed007's Note - Rodgers won't play Maeda as a striker.}
25 Jan 2025 06:11:53
Keev his numbers in terms of goals where better, and currently better while not playing as a striker.
23 Jun 2025 10:03:46
There’s been a handful of non competitive games but most has been a not bad watch, because was first tournament there was criteria for an invite I’m sure based around each organisations versions of champions league, Europe was so many previous cl winners and some others with highest co-officiant, think idea is good but timing and location is rotten, not sure it will catch on, but as someone else said, it’s not cricket.

While on season Tik subject,
Should holders be punished if they don’t go to games, I have 3 empty seats next to me every game except sevco (there would need to be obvious exemptions for day fans from Ireland or emended dates ) but I see the English prem teams have started ensuring fans need to turn up (also some teams make it mandatory that some games are given up for tourist resale)
{Ed007's Note - I would 100% back the idea of penalising season ticket holders who don't attend a certain percentage of games and can fully understand why PL teams are doing it, not only is there an empty seat but they are missing out on that person's matchday spend, food & drink, a programme etc
BUT... again I would only be happy to do it if there was a ticket resale scheme in place, for some fans most midweek games are a complete no-no with the travelling involved & work commitments so that's not their fault and punishing them wouldn't be fair but if they can resell their tickets then they must do that, whether the ticket sells or not, to keep their attendance percentage up.
Obviously people miss the odd game here and there and that's fine, hopefully they'd use the resale scheme but I'm not meaning giving someone lines for missing a game lol}
18 Jun 2025 13:07:49
Dugouts where rotten though, second row was basically same tiny seats fans are on in main stand, shame for fans as I don’t think moving will go down well.
16 Jun 2025 17:58:11
I’m sometimes flabbergasted at fans impatience, I see tongue in cheek in what was said but still, any players who is an international literally went on hol few days ago . and is the window even open.
15 Jun 2025 22:42:20
It’s a huge cost that would take years to recoup -years is like 10 plus just to recoup a 100 mil investment, so where’s the actual investment, Celtic have the fans no doubt but the fact is Scottish football doesn’t provide the entertainment required to fill a 70k stadium, it just doesn’t, yeah flag day, trophy day, cl nights but there’s 75% games would attendance wise be dyer, don’t kid yourself on that if we got another 7-10k fans in some of them would also not go, I can’t stress enough that having a scheme to resell tiks would be way to go, there’s lots people on waiting list for a tennar that when presented with the 700 bill for season Tik won’t take it up, reselling a seat unused will work and appease the people that want to go.
