Some views from the game,
Defence awful (I know we have injuries)
Midfield posted missing again
Substitutions totally baffling (took off the wrong players)
No threat at all in the second half
I truly believe Brendan is working his ticket, he won't leave and give up on the money he would get or his promise to the fans and the board won't sack him either as they would need to pay him, looks like we're stuck with him to the end of the season, P.
S well done to hearts as they were better than us all over the park.

Hearts are average at best. Whatever brenda said at halftime killed the team. Our captain hiding again. Subs embarrassing. Brenda out.

I agree the football was non-exiatent second half (most of the game really) and Hearts deserved their win but how often does a manager actually walk way without another offer GG? What I'd want is a manager to stay and fight.
I still think BR and the players we have can turn this around but man we've got to put a run of games together between now and crimbo.

McInnes changed and marked McGregor out the game. The tactic that's proved successful against us for donkeys. Rodgers again couldn't change a thing to sort that out.
His football is dire, but we're going to have him for the season.

DC it is only sevco fans that call our manager that.

Dc, you sound like a zombie by calling him brenda. No need for it.

We are in a real mess from Board down to dressing room and I agree we are well and truly stuck in this marriage of inconvenience.
I cannot see any resignations or sackings imminent, but I wonder how long this nightmare will be tolerated?
The manager cannot or will not get the team to play like they did on Thursday nearly often enough and far too many of the current squad have disappeared or disappointed.
Admittedly it is still only October and things can change, but not very many supporters I know believe we have the quality or consistency to turn the season back in our favour.
A win in the cup next Sunday would be very welcome but playing Sevco will be a similar game to today and we came up way short.
Long term, we have an 8 point deficit to reverse, a demanding schedule with a depleted squad and a manager who's substitutions are invariably like for like - but with inferior replacements and too many times the damage has already been done.
This season could rival the lockdown league for disappointment, but it could be even worse with supporters in the grounds deflecting their contempt and anger at the Board onto the manager and players. Brendan Rodgers once gave up invincibility for mediocrity but this season he could lose all credibility and respect, when looking for his next managerial position if this season collapses.
Unsettled players and injuries apart, we look a very soft touch in several games so far and every week I hope for, rather than expect Celtic to win; Where do we go from here?

I wouldn't know wee joe. Plus none of the sevco fans I know call brenda brenda.
26 Oct 2025 15:04:25
Derrytim i've never heard a sevco fan call him brenda.
26 Oct 2025 15:21:29
So why do you Its Brendan or BR.
26 Oct 2025 15:33:07
Says who chinks?
26 Oct 2025 15:52:17
Your protest too much DC. Clearly a Sevco fan.
