The answer to your question is Celtic have made a profit of £40M since Brendan came back in the summer of 2023.
You would have an argument if Brendan spent a Net Transfer of £40M or even £11M but he hasn’t.

JFP great post. I’m no Rodgers cheerleader, but I think all people on here without an agenda, other than wanting the best for our club, can admit that BR is a part of the problem. However, he’s a symptom of the problems. At the end of the day the buck stops with the board and while everyone can talk about BR’s team and tactics, the board are the guys that put him in charge of that area of the club. On saying all that, this is bigger than just BR, this has been coming for a couple of years.
It amazes me that anyone feeling so strongly about Rodgers isn’t having a go at the board for keeping him employed. It’s almost like they’re using Rodgers as deflection.

But it's not 1 game is it? Since Jan last year we haven't actually won any meaningful game. We have had 6 games this season where we haven't scored a goal, Hearts, Hibs and even Motherwell who are 10th have scored more than us. If you think this is kneejerk you are in the minority. This team is devoid of pace, aggression and ideas with half the 1st team past their best (Kasper, CCV, KT, Calmac, Hatate, KI) and the rest not good enough to ever be in our starting 11.

Spot on Chinks…. Nothing to do with the last couple of games.
This squad doesn’t have the basics. We are in big bother.
I can’t see things changing…. Until January at the earliest…. If we get some players in. 4 or 5.
No height, no dig, no pace, no guile. No creativity.
Just look at the fundamentals of winning a football game. Score goals and don’t concede. We have no recognised goal scorer and can’t stop leaking goals. Average defense and increasingly suspect gk.
No wonder we haven’t won any big games since January.

A good manager knows what the deficiencies are in his team and speaks to his board to purchase better quality players to replace the goals taken out of the team.
BR predicted this would happen all Summer BEFORE a ball was kicked not after the football started.
The board abandoned BR and the supporters.
On Engels. BR doesn’t close deals so that on the board.
There seems to be a return of posters over the last week who disappeared after the transfer window to stir things up from the dark side.
I agree with JFPs account of the players above.
The vast majority are SPFL standard and nothing more.
