Nicholson nowhere, Lawell nowhere, R. Desmond nowhere, given the fact that these people have left Nancy to do his first press conference on his own only shows how cowardly they people are. Afraid to answer any questions in front of the press, again Nicholson puts out a video that put him under no pressure from media, as it was revealed that all fans forums had been denied access to this press conference .
No other words for it Absolute Cowards especially R. Desmond and his father.

This press conference was to introduce the Manager not to be asked questions about the ongoing dispute with fans.
He does not need to get into the middle of that, so it was a sensible decision.

I'm sure Nancy is a big bhoy and can handle the press himself.

So why were the fan bloggers banned from attending?
05 Dec 2025 15:32:15
Don't know why only heard on Acsom that all fan media had been cancelled this morning, wonder why?

Because of potential disruption I would suspect.

There would have been no disruption, they just did not want to answer hard questions.
Cowards the lot of them.

Joe, of course there would have been issues. The questions they would have wanted to ask, would not be the ones the club needs asked when introducing the new Manager to the world.
Its only fair to Nancy he doesn't face all of that in his first interview.
There is plenty of time for him to find out what is going on and put his personal slant on it.
For once the board maybe got it right.
{Ed007's Note - That's just controlling the narrative though, every Celtic manager needs to face tough questions every week and if you listen to the press conference there were a few of the SMSM trying to dig with loaded questions. For the Club to allow the hated SMSM in and not fan media is just the board playing politics again, when have any of them cause disruption at a press conference?

I appreciate that Ed but at least give him 1 press conference where he gets a freebie, then from that one onwards, he gets a real welcome to managing Celtic in Scotland.
We just needed to hear about him, what's his football philosophy and plans moving ahead in respect of transfers etc.
Yes the board taking in SMSM is a kick in the nuts as I personally don't think they should be near our stadium but I have no doubt he would have been asked about the ongoing dispute which I personally don't think is a subject needed to be discussed in his first media conference.
The word disruption is harsh probably but everyone goes there with an agenda to ask question to get responses and answers that they want. He would have been asked about the issues to see what his thoughts are.
Give him time and I am sure he will have his own opinion but let's just leave him to get on with the hob we took him here for before he is thrown into club politics, because his full focus needs to be in that.
That is just my opinion.
