So putting up a poster of a board member's face with a red line through it, close to where a board member lives is considered intimidation and harassment.
Good luck proving that in court.

Weejoe,
individuals have to be very careful.
Venting dissatisfaction with the board at football games, whether vocally, with banners or even tennis balls thrown onto the pitch is one thing, but when it comes to the perceived threat to specific individuals at/ around their homes, that's a different ball game.
It wasn't so long ago that an arson attack took place at Peter Lawell's home, cars were set alight within metres of where his daughter and grand child were asleep, thankfully no-one was physically injured.
Incidents like this are in no way, shape or form acceptable in any decent society as it amounts to nothing more than a self appointed lynch mob and anyone caught should locked up for a very long time.
Protest through peaceful means but anything more is crossing the line.

{Ed007's Note - Where's the "threat" in putting posters up on a roundabout?
The attack on Lawwell's home was to do with his ECA role and the safeguarding of young players against gangsters being involved with agents in poorer countries.}

To be fair Ed, 'perceived threat' is what I posted but I'm no copper or lawyer and that's mainly because I would have been the wrong religion for one establishment, and I never stuck in enough at school, to qualify for the other.
I'm also as unhappy, dissalusioned and generally disgusted at this current boards behavior and actions as much as any supporter.
My main point being, it only takes one incident, and it's not a huge jump from posters near board members homes, to verbal or physical abuse of said individuals or even their family members in public to something even more serious.
We're better than that, more intelligent than that or at least, the majority of supporters are. I can't speak nor care for the rest.
I'm happy to agree, to disagree.

{Ed007's Note - Well if anybody does cross the line then they are not acting on behalf of or with the backing of the Fans Collective and deserve to feel the full force of the law.}

As ed said it is a couple of posters put up on signs and lamposts that are visible on their drive home. It certainly did not merit that hit piece in the papers, from Celtic PR team ?
The board are trying to paint a different picture from the reality of what happened. It looks like a wee guy done it and it is far from a campaign of intimidation and harassment from what I can gather. It is a classic case of playing the victim and just widens the divide between us and them
It would be nice for the fans at the game today to show solidarity with their persecuted brothers and sisters. Re-enacting the scene from Spartacus would be tremendous gesture.
