I guess nothing like being honest. We gave away 2 stupid goals Engels should have been punted after the first goal How crazy was it of him to stroll back on to the park behind the goals when Hearts were on the attack putting the goal scorer inside that was just lazy and not thoughtful the second where was the defence? We had a few good chances to put the game out of sight first half but squandered the chances.
We have all ordered most of us have said the squad isn't good enough if he did say that he is only saying the truth.

I am not saying Martin wasn't a godsend but I am just saying he has to get a chance it's a gamble sure but I think it's too early to say if he is good for us or not. I am sure most people would say he has inherited a few players not good enough for Celtic.
I don't know about the timing of him coming in would it have been better waiting until the cup final? Maybe but then would he have had enough time to assess the squad for the winter window opens? I don't know but for me I will give him a chance.

Manager needs to take blame,
But I have no doubts that those players let him and fans down,
There first was a gift not only for playing the guy onside our captain and rest practically stopped playing instead of playing to whistle, that's not on manager, from then on some of the players went missing and where poor, big trust carried ball into space whole game with next to nothing moving in front of him,
Second free header is t on manager either,
Not keeping with a consistent winning way is absolutely on him as it carries the risk of what happened,

You can only play the hand you're dealt, or, in this case, that hand that was on the table when you sat down.
Am I happy that he completely ripped up MON 's script and lost to Hearts - NO.
Am I happy that he's walking around with a wee tactics board with magnets on it when clearly changes were required on the park - NO.
Do I think he needs to win the domestic games, secure the first trophy of the season and get us to the transfer window either top of the league or very close to it - YES.
Having said tgat, if Maeda scores one of the sitters in the first half it could have been 4 or 5, but he didn't, why, because he needs 8 chances to score 1, why's that, because his job is a winger not a striker.
The new manager is single minded and believes in the way he wants his team to play the game, AP was no different and sometimes his Plan A (there was no Plan B) got us into all sorts of bother, especially in Europe, but when it clicked it was some of the best football we'd seen in 20 years.
Nancy deserves a chance, irrespective of what all of us 'experts' think. There are also players in this Celtic first team squad that should be nowhere near Celtic Park, let alone getting minutes on the pitch.

I don't blame Engles for the first goal. I blame Calmac for stopping and putting his hand in the air. Does he not know we have var for offsides and should play to the whistle?
