With every game I am more inclined to MON extending his stay but I understand we have a new gaffer and (like I've heard everyone say) I will get behind him. Really hope he hits ground running but a lot of pressure on him. What MON and SM have done in a month is pretty astonishing. It was a low ebb. Ed, am I right that SM will join Nancy's back room team? If so I'm wondering if this a) Provides some sense of continuity and
b) In a kinda related point, would maintain that continuity if (as many fear) the WF reign goes boobs up with a quickness.
I do hope that it pans out but the man is up against it today the least? HH.
{Ed007's Note - That's the rumours, about Maloney, and Nancy is going to need someone that knows about Scottish football next to him, either Maloney or the wee ginger chap cutting about Dunfermline.}

Do you not think the players were cheating the fans by not playing with more urgency drive passion intensity and aggression? You can say Brendan coached a more performance based tactic than Martin does but come on the players so called "chucking it" under Brendan is cheating the fans! Just because Martin asks them to run faster try harder get the ball forward faster (a thing Brendan said numerous times they weren't doing) doesn't make Engels double the player (for example) he was 8 games ago but he is ??♂️.

Engels wasn't playing, trusty wasn't playing, those where br decisions made to gaslight fanbase into thinking we where short of quality, we all know how bad summer was but he made things seem worse, Martin and am have simply
Brought team together and put best available 11 out, no gimmicks, just go and win and it's worked, I do think br runs certain players/ people up wrong way also.

Trusty was injured and Engels had been terrible, so why would you play them?

I think out of spite Roger's held players back from the starting 11 to purposely make the team look weaker to try and force the hand onto the purse strings. Because Tounetki and Balishwa were left sides players he refused to play them on the right incase they played well there and he lost out on a right winger.
It's petty but it's Roger's. Completely plausible if you ask me again.

So why did Martin O'Neil not play them at right wing and preferred to use Maeda or mccowan? Was he also trying to make the team look weaker so he could get more money in January?
Here is my theory, balikwisha is pish and tounekti is better on the left, hence the reason neither manager played balikwisha and opted for tounekti on the left. ?.

Tounetki is taking his medicine on the bench for a lukewarm start to his career at Celtic. Had his form been better he may well have played him there. I think Yang has been much better in the last few games so maybe he has done enough to push Tounetki out for now.
I don't think MON is a petty blouse so the comparison with Rodger's here is misplaced Joe I think. My opinion is that Rodger's used his starting 11 to make statements on weakness of squad positions.

I just pointed out the flaw in your argument as MON done the exact same as BR in terms of Tounekti and Balikwisha.

Agree Joe,
I also notice the noise has died down from some posters who had Shin, Inamura, Pusey etc as being held back by BR.
MON has ignored them as well.
Be interesting to see if the boards new choice for manager plays them or not.

Exactly North 18Q. They are trying to paint a narrative that does not exist.
