Buzz,
Can you help out or verify my Quick Look at Nancys stats in Management…. Although only a manager for 4 or 5 years in a poor league…. Is his win % really less than 50%?
Is this accurate?

51% not good enough for a club like Celtic, even penny pinching with their managerial appointments, sitting on a fortune too, they could afford to appoint a top class manager instead of a rookie.

As av mentioned i am totally underwhelmed with the due appointment but is their league any worse than ours, USA are seeded 14th were 36tha dint think its a bad league but this btr work out?♂️.

Troy national team standings doesn't make league great . most of they're national team play in Europe.

He won mls manager of the year and his team were regarded as the best over there,
{Ed007's Note - John McGlynn has been Scotland's Manager of the Year two years in a row.}

Troy after replying I seen we're linked with guy from columbus crew called rossi he had a 1 in 2 average at la galaxy got a move to fenerbache his avg was then 1 in 9.moved back usa to columbus his record is nearly 1 in 2 again .
not comfortable after move not played in similar role in same position or sign of a weaker league?

Most supporters are willing to give him a chance - as we have no choice in whatever manager we preferred. The problem lies in trusting a Board who have literally declared war on the support and who's decisions have been detrimental and questionable too often.
The appointment reeks of arrogance and blatant disregard for any ambition and progress that may have been better served by holding onto MON until a wider choice of better candidates were available.

I think you need to check previous managers win rate before they joined us.
26 Nov 2025 13:32:20
I'd rather have John McGlynn or even Robinson from st mirren over him at least they know the league and what's expected and wouldn't require any compensation or barely any Nancy comes with a considerable outlay that would be better spent elsewhere.

There would be carnage if that happened, how's this guy any worse than mckenna who got Ipswich relegated and has them lying 10th in the English 2nd tier, and if he'd got the job and had a few bad results the pitchforks would have been out probably the same with this guy right enough.
{Ed007's Note - McKenna took Ipswich from League One into the PL and is seen as one of the best young manager/coach in the UK if not Europe with a provable track record, he's coached at Spurs, coached at Man Utd, was assistant to Mourinho and was kept on there by Solskjaer & Rangnick before he took the Ipswich job, leading them to back to back promotions to the PL- he also won EFL Championship Manager of the Season, LMA Manager of the Year & the LMA Awards: EFL Championship Manager of the Year the same year Nancy won MLS Coach of the Year.}

Only as good as your last rodeo and our fans are fickle they'd have been after him after a few dodgy results and relegation would have been used to batter the guy.
26 Nov 2025 16:10:26
I read he has a 49% win record celtic65.
26 Nov 2025 16:18:39
I read a story that Efrain Juarez was also on the short list, which ended up consisting of him and Nancy.
So I doubt there was any real interest in McKenna, Knutsen or any other Manager the fans wanted.
26 Nov 2025 16:27:31
Yer it was a cheap coach no matter what to behave as PL says sit down accept dross players and take all the blame for our failings it's a yes man they wanted and they have one.
26 Nov 2025 22:48:44
How do you know he's a yes man pure speculation. I hope he comes in wins a treble and all the moaners come back. I've seen some posh managers of this club and great players Liam Brady, John Barnes, Lou McCari, big Tony to name a few people were so happy.
Let's get behind the team the management if you don't like it don't go plenty will take your season ticket.
{Ed007's Note - Yeah, half fill the stadium with happy clappers & tourists, where's the plenty been the last few games? Plenty will buy STs and make sure they're there for Derbies, CL games, trophy day and winning the league, where are they the rest of the season?
