The CLOWNS on our Board have appointed another CLOWN
Having followed Celtic for more years than I can remember, I have always got behind any new Celtic manager as that what we Celtic fans do, but for the very first time I CANNOT see any good out of this manager, the things he said in press conferences before game, then his stupid tactics during game and what was that daft tactics board all about.
No he will bring our club down, he is our equivalent of Russell Martin, he thinks he is a tactical genius and he is plainly NOT

Best fans the the world? Don't make me laugh. Our team has been poor all of 2025 and have lost more games than any calendar year I can remember. The guy has been in the building for 3 days. He needs to find out who can and can't play his preferred system. Had we taken our chances early, we would have won the game. Our quality up front is so poor and this needs addressing but the guy is not a magician. This result has been coming for anyone who watched the St Mirren, Hibs and Dundee games. Our most successful managers of the past 20 years all lost their first games. The guy may fail or may turn out to be amazing but to be wanting him away after 1 game and 3 days in the building is something I expect from the mob across town.
Let's get behind the man and give him the best opportunity to succeed. Our enemy is in the boardroom and I feel some in our support are wanting this guy to fail so they can blame those up top. It's a game we could and should have won and we played far better than we have in our previous 3 league games. Give the guy a chance lads. If we are still losing games regularly in March/ April then fair enough but c'mon guys, give the man a chance and get behind him.

The bottom line is that the incompetent Board are going nowhere soon and they will not sack their new appointment this early.
This has been a turbulent and antagonistic season so far, but at the moment we are still in contention for trophies and there will be player movement next month. As much as most of us have concerns and doubts about the current situation, we have to give him a chance.
This monthly managerial roundabout will have taken it's toll on the players as well and they need all the support they can get.
What I will add is that the current acrimony and rage against the Board as well as trying to follow MON puts WN under more pressure than any Celtic manager in recent years.

how would you feel if we play st mirren of the park at the wkend but they still win the cup. maybe raise a glass for a dram wee played out or skin lads well done wile the st mirren fans celebrate a trophy.
its no sounding like that mob across the city its about seeing what's about to happen and he is about to reck our season.
i put a post up on here a lot of the squad dnt like him already mate and that's inside knowledge the players urny having him and he is going to lose the dressing room real quick.

Tactics or formations didn't cost us the game yesterday, not one player meriting more than 4 out of 10 did.
Some of players need to look at themselves in the mirror… privately I think WN will be astonished at the poor quality of individual players yesterday.

Formation for me was a massive part of yesterday defeat, why change a winning formation in your 1st game and not really know what players are like. Bad tactics from WN, bed himself in then get players in he feels will do a job in a back 3.

Was 100 percent the tactics that cost us the game mate. We have win 8 out the last 9 games includeing a brilliant away win in Europe he comes in changes the tactics and we get beat of course it was the tactics.

About 30 crosses into the box and only once did we get to the final pass (Engles sitter) We need a target man type striker asap along with a RB, Hardy Centre midfielder and a rght winger in January. We are far to lite weight allover the pitch.

It's the win at all costs mindset that has prevented us from making any progress in Europe over the past 20 yrs. We can't be writing a manager off after one game, a game that we may have lost regardless of who was in the dugout. Hearts are better than any of the teams we have narrowly beaten over the past few weeks. UI, no I won't be having a dram if we lose cup final and I expect us to win the game.
I don't need educating that you need to win at Celtic as I've supported them all my life. I am, however, willing to give any new manager some time. He needs to get his own players in and see where we are come March or April, not after one game. If that's your definition of a supporter, each to their own.

Marty I can tell when some one has not got a clue mate and hese not got a clue. I'm always positive on here when things aren't looking to good at times if you look back on all my post history. I even backed Ange right away to after I did some research on him I had Lennons back I even thought the ten was still possible even though it was blind faith leading me. I I've backed kt return I tried to see positives in the summer transfer window. Listen all I can do is wait and see and really hope he comes good but I really doubt it. After yesterday he seems like someone who will just keep doing what hese doing even if things just keep going tits up. If he is in the mentality that performances are better than results then that's speaks volumes of what's in store for us. Here's one for ye Ange 3 -0 defeat to Madrid toe to toe for 60 minutes Neil Lennon 2-1 against Barcelona with about 11 percent possession what's the most historic night for us fans out those two matches that we will remember and is cemented in our European history.
I'm in no way comparing any these managers here. I'm just showing Nancy mindset. He would rather the 3-0 defeat as good football was played. Sometimes you just got to roll yer selves up and win and change things to get the result. as I says I've already herd hese pissed off a lot of players with his attitude already. In no way do I want him to fail to say I told you so as it means I need to go through hurt and watch probably that mob win the league. I've just got the vibes of hese going to cause us a lot of pain because of his stubborness and attitude wile useing us as a stepping stone to bigger leagues. once hese gone he won't care what hurt or damage he causes here if he fails because he knows he will get work somewhere else.

UI, not looking for an argument mate as I know it all comes from a place of passion. I just doubt you can get a 'vibe' off someone after one game. When Ange came in he had a full pre season so we have no idea how he would have set up had he came in mid season. My belief is he would have done the exact same and played his preferred system and style. I've said before, how does he get to know which players suit his style without trying to implement it in games? There are only a few weeks until the window so he needs to start now.
One thing all his ex players say is that he is a great man manager so I doubt he has managed to alienate players after 3 days. It doesn't fit with everything players he has coached in the past say. He may end up being a disaster but I think that outcome is more likely if the fans are not behind him after 3 days.

I want to give the guy a chance but I said before he arrived he will not deviate from his system no matter what, that is what he has done historically.
He does not have a Plan B, because he believes it only needs Plan A.
He was never coming in, leaving the formation as it was to assess his players.
We could have been 2 up in the first half against Hearts but didn't take our chances. The belief then left the players.
We have nothing up front to scare any team, even under MON, our forwards didn't score a lot, and defensively we are not good enough in the air at crosses and corners.
When Ange came in and lost a few games, you could see what he wanted to do and he got in the players who could do it for him.
Who is WN going to take in who will manage to make this system work in the SPFL.
Our board have taken a chance on him to maybe/ hopefully do something this season but hoping next season we will be back on top.
I have absolutely no belief in this system working unless the board fully back him in January, which will need 2 or 3 forwards and maybe a couple of defenders, who have pace and can pass from back to front.
There is no chance of getting those players in the January window.
DD and the board have taken a collosal risk with this guy.
At his interview he probably came across as intelligent and with a plan. His right hand man being a Celtic supporter probably made them think that would make us welcome them with open arms and ignore his lack of European experience.
Already this has the potential for it to be a difficult 2.5 years, where we could struggle to come out on top and qualify for the CL.
I know it is one game but this system, and I might be overreacting, with no addendum to it, makes it easy to plan and play against.
Giving Hearts and sevco the chance to compete for the title, means them competing for the CL money, which will make them stronger and only weaken us, as with less money coming in, our board will remain reluctant to spend our way to the top again.
I was once optimistic but have real concerns over where we are heading.

Misplaced passes, missed sitters and poor defending is what it is whether you 3,5,2 or 4,4,2 or any other permutation… some people on here needing to watch the game back and admit most of our players were well off it yesterday.
