James Forrest has still to train with his teammates since his injury in September.
He’s back doing light individual rehabilitation work.

Agree0 Disagree0

Massive player for us to get back. However sad its now probably came to late.

This spell without forrest has highlighted how important he has been for us in recent seasons even further.

Jullian could still be out for another 6-9 months.

19 Feb 2021 15:44:44
Sorry I’ve started a rumour myself there.
It isn’t another 6-9 months,
Just 6-9 months from the injury, which will take him to September at worse.

Realistically we will need to bring in someone who can be a mainstay in the team. Julien will have to work to get his place back.

19 Feb 2021 18:39:05
We will need a couple of cbs now for qualifiers.

Lennon was asked today about areas he would be looking for to bring in Lennon said there would b lots of areas they would need to look at. Yeah of course he would say that but what would be the main areas? Looking at the first team

Midfielders. 1 dcm. 2 acm.

19 Feb 2021 21:12:16
Well that might no be up fir grabs will see.

Agree with Oldkilly, start with a Manager and build from there.

I always find it funny how a player can go from being average to a superstar in some peoples eyes because he has been out injured for a few months.
Forrest is average at best, he has scored something like 60 goals in 10 years whilst in the first team, he has 1 good season under Rodgers and won himself a new contract.
He is the same as Rogic, plays rubbish most of the season but pops up and scores a goal against Rangers, in the cups or Europe and people think he is the best thing since sliced bread.

20 Feb 2021 05:42:15
You said it Jon 👌🏻.

20 Feb 2021 08:32:41
James Forrest has very good statistics.
He has scored 60 league goals,
But Forrest has also scored 30 cup goals including 12 European goals.
He turned into a different player when Brendan came to the club.
He was more direct and he also enjoyed injury free seasons.
It resulted in an additional 46 assists in only 4 seasons.
Forrest only managed another one assist before his bad injury this season.

20 Feb 2021 08:47:21
Can I also add that James Forrest only had 5 assists in his first 6 seasons before Brendan Rodgers came to the club.
It just shows how much his game changed for the better and Brendan and his coaching staff made him into a more all round mature player.

20 Feb 2021 10:56:01
Dont think anyone is saying Forrest is a world beater. He is a very good Scottish premiership player who we have missed badly this season.

20 Feb 2021 20:05:07
But have we missed him badly Fifer?
Would he have been playing in the back 4 or as a goalkeeper?
Do you honestly think if Forrest had been fit it would have made any kind of a difference to how Lennon sets up the team or uses his subs, I think we all know if we are honest that having Forrest fit this season would have made NO difference.
It would probably have also stopped Turnbull from getting the game time that he has as Christie and Rogic would have been the 2 to play in the No:10 role with Turnbull missing out.

21 Feb 2021 00:39:32
If any of yous think forrest beimg out injured is the reason we are so far behind then you are deluded. like johnbhoy says Turnbull would not of progressed as much if Lennon had the choice Forrest would of been in instead of turnbull if fit.
