I don't want to be political. However, was on the independence march in Edinburgh today saw something I would never have thought Celtic and sevco fans together jointly with a banner for independence. Please don't kick me for bringing politics onto the site. Just thought it was interesting.

{Ed007's Note - There's nothing wrong with bringing politics on here as long as it's kept civil buddy and we respect each other's opinion, same as anything really.
There's plenty of TRIFC supporters that support Scottish independence - including one of their prominent board members btw - just like there's Celtic supporters and Catholics that support the UK/Union too but as I've said on here for years, if you let who your football team is dictate your politics etc you're too stupid to be allowed to vote.}

Sure there is a group called rangers fans for independence and I've got a cousin who grew up in the shadow of the old stadium that served in the armed forces that voted no.
So your team means feck all or should mean feck all when it comes to politics.

Interesting topic, certainly wouldn’t see anything like that in Northern Ireland, unfortunately your politics is probably your team.

Talking about confusing I was talking to a guy a few weeks ago who was on an independence march in Glasgow with the Coatbridge Republicans. Apparently there were three Sevconians there with a banner ‘Bears for Independence’ who we’re getting dogs abuse from loyalist protestors. The Coatbridge Republicans were protecting the three independent Bears from the Huns. A country doesn’t get more confused than that but it gives me hope that the love of ones country can bridge religious divides and football allegiances.

What men and women the world over have fought for with Scotland I believe being the only country ever to reject it in a vote.
